I'm 22 and have been to 1 wedding but I was a kid. I dont know much about the dos and don'ts for wedding guest outfits.
Is this an alright outfit to wear or is it too colourful? Too short?

@sylbunny

All the ones you linked are fine except the white! I can't emphasise enough how you cannot where white, cream, ivory or any kind of pale pink etc!

I agree.
I would also suggest that anything that needs you to wear control knickers for a long time is not a good idea.

Been seeing chi chi a lot, never heard of them so decided to have a look. Are these okay for a wedding? I will upload another 3

These are fine, but def not the two you posted next - too white

The first one is fine if you were attending a Pride parade dressed as a milkmaid.

Lots of better suggestions in the thread including your first batch of Chichi but for heavens sake not the white ones.

The first one you posted is hideous but I love the first one of your last post and more appropriate for a wedding.

Pretty Little Thing Occasion Wear any of that is suitable for a 22 year old to wear at a wedding.

@AnotherFruitcake

If the wedding guest theme is ‘Slutty Can-Can Barbie’, then you’re all set, OP. Otherwise, no.

These are much nicer, the pink one is lovely.
I wouldn’t wear either on your second link- white/cream is def best avoided!

Is the wedding in the Caribbean?
Its a bit 'fiesta'. Actually they both are.
What's wid da frills, and the shortness?

My 6 yo Gdd would adore a dress like that.,

For an adult, I’d have to say no. Not for a wedding or anything else.

PS. the pink Chi Chi one is nice.

MissMaple82 Some if the suggestions! She's 22, not 52! Wear whatever you want OP there is no right or wrong, it's whatever you feel comfortable in. That style is obviously part of your personality so go for it
Agreed!
Have you looked at Lipsy @Sophie1029734?

The point is you must wear a frock that does NOT look as though you're trying to upstage the bride. So you want classy and elegant, not meringue.

Go for something at least knee length and a bit less frilly.

Not the baby blue one, but the other Chi Chi are nice.
I do like the round bags that you had chosen, especially the first one, as it had a shoulder strapGrin

I'm not keen on the style of the dress OP. It's not suitable for a wedding.

Those frills and the colour combo is too samba. It looks more like a costume than an outfit, something an under-10 would wear at a disco dancing competition.

I think weddings do demand a certain level of dignified dress, no matter how young or fun you are.

Personally OP I would try and channel your love of frou frou away from Geordie Shore towards more boho chic.
