@Hannm123 I wish I could say I have but no nothing just said I should hear end of this week if not phone bk next week but I’m no feeling very positive had the worst day car broke down and my son positive for Covid so I’m praying for some good news this week. Have u heard anything x

Nope not heard anything neither ..you’re due soon good luck soon ..is your son okay ? How old is he ? My older one had it last week hes 16 he was ill for about a week with flu like symptoms and had a nasty cough but it cleared up and fine now..fingers crossed you get some good news soon cos you sound like you could do with a break ..remember to look after yourself aswell xx

@Hannm123 thank you aww it’s not good the now where we stay a lot of people r self isolating. Hope ur son is ok now.. my son is 11 and he got adhd and learning difficulties so hoping everything goes ok and I don’t need to do this all over again.. trying not to phone today lol and try and get through the weekend I’ve now got the car garage to phone 🤦‍♀️ I hope u hear something soon to xx

Just had a call from DLA asking the date I posted?! She said it’s been looked at soon, I’m so nervous now. Anyone had a call like that?

@Mummyof3boz ring again today as it’s very unlikely you’ll get the same person answer and they’ll tell you something different and possibly something more promising….

@Mummyof3boz no they haven’t got a clue lol - let me know what they say when you ring again, I’ve always been told to ring as soon as they open let likely to be waiting a hour to get through

@Kimcoco21 at least they are showing some interest in your claim .maybe they have it on their desk or ready Gombe passed to decision maker ,I bet any money you have a decision by end of the week xx

Just got through to them now ..lady wasn’t very helpful as usual she said it takes 6-8 weeks for a decision and asked why I was ringing ..I said well it’s been over 7 weeks so I’m entitled to ring amd ask for an update she just said no decision as yet then hung up on me 😡rude bitch doesn’t cost anything for manners x

@Hannm123 aww that’s awful not good when u get someone so rude no need for it as u said ur entitled to know u should maybe phone again and hope u get someone nicer I’m anxious to phone today don’t know why so thinking of just leaving it till Monday x

I’m gonna phone again next week now on weds when it will be 8 weeks ..when was yours scanned onto system? X

@Hannm123 it said on the letter I got 23rd of July so not sure if that’s the day it scanned so makes it 8weeks tomorrow so I thought I just wait x

Why do people have to be so rude just no need for it. I’m going to ring Tuesday Morning then it would have been a week for the application to move through to a DM. It’s such an anxious time waiting & not knowing.

it's 8-9 weeks claim are taking just now mines was 9 I got a decision on Monday just to give use a rough estimate on timescale I would phone after 8 weeks from the date you call the wait is awful bit the money gets backdate so when I got it in my bank It was a bit of a relief the wait is brutally though money usually takes 3-5 days from decision to go into your account once awarded xx
