@3Hearts1Beat did you at least start getting the element for carers one you declared it in august or have payments still not started?

@Alk19 thanks hun. I reckon they’ll probably put the payment in with our next pay or is this wishful thinking cause we all know how much they enjoy us constantly chasing them lol xx

@3Hearts1Beat well I had my payment today and just standard payment my carers allowance only started Monday and they've already took the months worth out of it x

@Alk19 NO WAY! What on earth, funny how they’re such eager beavers when it comes to what you owe them yet when it’s the other way round it’s just a long story. I thought it’d be a separate payment cause it’s money that being backdated and not our normal payments, guess it’s just another waiting game. x

Hi, I rang Monday and was told could be up to 15 weeks! Received a letter saying they have not made a decision yet today, so I rang up and the man on the phone who was much better than the woman I spoke to Monday said hopefully they will have made a decision by the 29th of November. Letter is still not with the decision maker yet though he said but hopefully won't be long. Have you heard anything? X

@3Hearts1Beat I got that same letter almost 3 weeks ago, and still nothing yet. I keep getting told different things. They tell me a case manager will contact me but they never do

@Srmam mine was recieved and scanned 28th sept 8 weeks up Tuesday I phoned Monday but wasn't helpful just said could wait another 3/4 weeks they sat different things all time rele gets on my nerves lol x

It really annoys me too lol. I get told different things all the time. The man on the phone said that they have moved buildings so things are slightly behind but he said hopefully it will be with the decision maker come the 29th x

@Srmam sometimes I wonder if they tell the truth as no 1 has mentioned that to me I don't no what adviser to believe lol x

@Alk19 sorry hun, I only just seen your message about me only recently just telling them about the Disabled Child Element. I decided to ring them up and ask them if that letter is for both Elements and the advisor on the phone told me yes. But honestly I’m not holding my breath cause, you just never know with them. At this rate, payments will most probably fall through in the New Year. x

@Nic247 it’s just absolutely ridiculous, I mean my journal looks so messy with all the messages that I’m constantly sending to them. I’m not even surprised that you got the same exact letter three weeks ago and still nothing. It just seems to be a case of luck with UC.

@3Hearts1Beat it's crazy isn't it! I don't understand what the decision maker thing is all about if its nothing to do with the backpayment. Just hope the case manager process doesn't take as long!

@Nic247 I seriously don’t know what is going on with the whole lot of them. I mean even with how they’ve informed that a Case Manager will be in contact, I’m here thinking what on earth for? This Case Manager thing, I mean is it them having to approve the calculations that have been made in order for payment to then be issued. I’m just actually really confused now. Makes no sense none whatsoever.

@3Hearts1Beat I really doesn't. Even the advisor I last spoke to said its very frustrating but there's nothing they can do other then keep chasing them up. I'll be calling them again on Tuesday unless by miracle I hear before hand

@loladiego38 I only sent his diagnosis with the actual claim, then when I got the learning plan ect through I rung and asked if it was worth sending in and got told no, to hold onto it incase I had to do a MR. But I went into alot of detail in the forms xx

@blabbermouth93 no, they said I will get a payment next week and then the next payment will be the 21st of december, hopefully not long for you🤞 mine took 9 weeks and 2 days xx

@Alk19 @3Hearts1Beat iv finally got another letter in my journal this morning with the backpay amount they are paying into my account. Fingers crossed you both get the same soon!

How long after receiving the sorry we haven't dealt with your claim yet have people got there decision as I just recieved one dated the 15th x
