Though sometimes, nothing hits the spot like plain old cheese and butter.

Jacket pot, lots of butter or lurpak. A couple of turns of the salt grinder. Baked beans with grated mature cheddar on top.

A pile of salad leaves and some cut of pepper and cucumber with a massive spoonful of Waitrose deli style coleslaw….

It’s a faff but, scoop out insides of the baked potato, mix with chopped fried bacon and grated cheese, scoop back into the potato skins, grated cheese on top, under the grill until the top cheese melts.

We've got into the habit of having jacket potatoes at least once a week, makes an easy meal & we always seem to have odd portions of chilli, Bolognese or other random stuff in the freezer that needs eating up
