This is an A&E trip right?

Tripped over dd’s scooter in the garden and fell with all my weight on my leg. It’s not broken as can weight-bear (with pain!) but my god it’s so bloody sore. Bruises came up very quickly.

This is an A&E trip right?

Woooah that looks sore!! Minor injuries if you have one or A&E for X-ray I think.

I would be headed to minor injuries or A&E. just because you can weight bear doesn't mean nothing is broken.

Ouch! If you have a minor injuries I'd get it checked out, if there isn't one I'd wait a bit and see and then head to A&E if it's still very painful etc.

Flipping heck, those bruises!

Deffo need to get it checked. If nothings broken, I can recommend arnica cream for the bruises.

Weight bearing does not mean no fracture, yes that needs checking out. Minor injuries unit might be your best bet.

That looks bad, never seen bruising like that so would agree with the others and get checked.

Gosh yes. Weight bearing doesn't mean it's not broken. A friend of mine turned her ankle in the starting pen for a half marathon. Ran the race on her very sore ankle and discovered afterwards that it was broken.

Because that came up so fast and because there's pain on weight bearing, I would suspect a fracture and soft tissue damage at the least!

Definitely A&E. If you are walking arou d on it and there's a fracture you're going to make it a while lot worse. It looks dreadful! Hope you get it sorted OP x

Ability to weight bear doesn't actually determine whether there is a fracture or not. It's a common misconception

Wow I’ve never seen such big bruises!
A child I knew fell off her scooter in an odd way and broke her leg but they didn’t realise so they’d booked a GP appointment for a couple of days later instead of going to A&E!
Hopefully everything is ok but im glad you’re getting it checked just incase.

Good lord! I was an A+E nurse until recently. Go to A+E! This is the type of thing we would see in minors
