This is an A&E trip right?

Tripped over dd’s scooter in the garden and fell with all my weight on my leg. It’s not broken as can weight-bear (with pain!) but my god it’s so bloody sore. Bruises came up very quickly.

This is an A&E trip right?

😱 I wasn't expecting it to be so bad. Yea go get checked out it nights still be broken or fractured etc. You poor thing. Get some gd pain relief that looks agony!

Er yes. I walked on a broken ankle and foot for a week and had no bruising or swelling so.. a&e!

Yikes! That looks sore.
As the others have suggested - either minor injuries clinic or A&E with you!
Hopefully it's just the bruises and nothing is broken.

Feel better soon (and get your DD to start putting her scooter away after it's been used to somewhere safe so that it doesn't happen to anyone else)

Also, I'd recommend getting yourself some arnica to help with the bruising.

Definitely needs checking and doesn’t mean it’s not broken just because you can weight bear. Fingers crossed it’s all ok x

I had bruising like that with breaks and you can still weight bear with breaks so go to A and E to get checked.

Ds1 finished a rugby match on a leg that was fractured in 2 places when he was 14. He fell awkwardly and got straight up, said it was a but sore but felt fine to continue. It wasn't until the evening (about 5 hrs later) that he started complaining that it was sore and felt shooting pains in his lower leg.
