Mr Mouse sadly lost his short battle with cancer 2 days ago.

I am absolutely heartbroken and lost and missing him so badly.

Will this pain ever stop?

I’m so so sorry.

Try and take some small comfort in your love for each other.

HorseGallopingOnATomato · 10/07/2021 10:29

I am so, so sorry for your loss. I remember your previous threads. Sending all my love to you and your family. We are always here, day or night, on MN to support you through this.

Such sad news ... thinking of you

FiveGoMadInDorset · 10/07/2021 10:29

Oh lovely, it is so raw now for you all. Two years in for me and still get overwhelmed and tearful at random moments, you do learn to love with it ❤️

RosieLeaLovesTea · 10/07/2021 10:29

So sorry for your loss. The pain will ease over time although in the middle of grief it does not feel that way. I hope you have got family and friends around you for support. Sending hugs and strength.

Cheermonger · 10/07/2021 10:30

I’m so sorry. We could see how much you loved him and that will have been comforting for him. My thoughts go out to you x

Biscuitsneeded · 10/07/2021 10:30

So sorry to read this. I followed your story. Sending you strength.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 10/07/2021 10:33

oh you poor thing, I'm so sorry for your lossFlowers

I can't link it but Google "ball in box grief".
it's the perfect analogy of how the pain changes over time.

CloudsOfCeonothus · 10/07/2021 10:35

Oh ghostmouse Sad I'm so very sorry. Life has been very unfair to you & it's all happened so fast.

You've been on a massive rollercoaster with so much happening & only just got married. I did cry when you described Mr Mouse's face when you walked in.

Pause & learn to re-breathe. Be gentle with yourself & surround yourself with whatever & whoever you need to get through this hardest bit. Thinking of you xxx

Pansypotter123 · 10/07/2021 10:35

So very sorry to read this update. I too have been following your story. Sending you heartfelt love and much sympathy (I lost my husband to cancer several years ago) xxx

TheSparkling · 10/07/2021 10:36

I'm so sorry for your loss. My husband died two and a half years ago. I can assure you it does get a little easier, but the pain of grieving is horrendous for a long time. There isn't a way to avoid it. I hope you have people with you and looking after you right now.
Be kind to yourself and take it one step or even one breath at a time. Xx

I'm so sorry to hear this. I have been following your posts. I wish there was more I could do to support Flowers

HelenUrth · 10/07/2021 10:40

So very sad for you. Its very early days but yes you will learn to live with your terrible loss. Perhaps right now just take it a day, an hour or even a minute at a time rather than looking too far into the future. I hope you have plenty of support around you. My heart goes out to you.

Crockof · 10/07/2021 10:41

I am so very sorry, its so bloody shit and unfair. Sending you all love.

hlc123 · 10/07/2021 10:41

So sorry for your loss

InteriorDesignHell · 10/07/2021 10:42

Another vote for WAY. A friend lost his wife to swift, late diagnosed cancer (at Christmas) and they were really there for him.

Mogloveseggs · 10/07/2021 10:42

I can't offer any advice. I'm just deeply sorry for you and your children, and for poor Mr Mouse, who was taken cruelly and prematurely. Xx

ChakaDakotaRegina · 10/07/2021 10:46

So sorry for you x . There is a saying "Grief is the price we pay for love " and its true . It will be a long and bumpy road and a little bit of you will have changed forever , but it will get easier , just not yet for a while .

beigebrownblue · 10/07/2021 10:52

So sorry for your loss. Please look after yourself. Drink water.
