Mr Mouse sadly lost his short battle with cancer 2 days ago.

I am absolutely heartbroken and lost and missing him so badly.

Will this pain ever stop?

I am sorry to hear this. My condolences on your loss, may he rest in peace Thanks

BashfulClam · 10/07/2021 10:59

I’m so sorry, nothing anyone can say will stop the pain you feel. You will feel it and grieve and it’s normal. Take comfort from the fact you loved him and he loved you so much, the pain will lessen but it won’t be overnight and I’m sorry you have to go through this.

Hallyup6 · 10/07/2021 11:04

So sorry, sweetheart. Just try and look after yourself and take any help that anyone offers. You don't need to do anything else for the moment. I'm glad the hospital managed to sort your wedding out for you and you are able to have that special memory to look back on xx

Mischance · 10/07/2021 11:04

So sorry to hear about your loss - the pain at this stage feels unbearable. In the same situation I rang Samaritans on a couple of occasions - they listened and cared and it meant a lot to me to have someone outside the family to talk to - also CRUSE are a wonderful organisation who provided me with phone support for may months.

I can only say that the pain does ease - it never goes away and bubbles along under the surface, but gradually you do pick up the pieces and find joy in the good memories rather than your mind being focussed on the immediate memories of his death.

Take care; look after yourself; my heart is with you. Flowers

I'm so sorry to hear about Mr Mouse. I followed his diagnosis then your lovely wedding day, and it has all happened so quickly.

You must be utterly reeling, to have gone through all this so quickly and with barely any time to process it.

Sending you ❤️

I am so sorry to hear this. I to, followed your story.

As a widow myself, I can tell you that yes, it does get better. My life is not happy and fulfilled again, though there are always times when I especially miss him.

Be patient, take the time you need, and let people support and help you.

The pain is awful.
I cant get his death out of my head, i was with him until the end, both me and his sister were holding him and whispering loving things to him.
