Random, I know.

Anyone else just fancy the arse off celebrities but from years ago or even before you were born?

I have such a thing for Roland Orzabal of Tears for Fears, but only in their early 80's era, specifically in the "Head Over Heels" video which would have been released when I was about two.

Also George Peppard circa 1960's and David Cassidy in the 70's (might have read too many of my mums vintage Jackie annuals in my teens.)

I'm hoping it isn't just me!

I remember my DM waffling on about Mel Gibson. I did much teenage eye rolling thinking of lethal weapon etc...

Then I watched Mad Max Grin

Clawdy · 28/06/2021 19:44

James Dean and Marlon Brando for me!

danadas · 28/06/2021 19:45

Marlon Brando circa 1950. Almost 35 years before I was born.

WeeMadArthur · 28/06/2021 19:49

Yuk Bruner (53 years older) and Burt Lancaster (60:years older), oh and Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Named Desire (49 years older).

Lampzade · 28/06/2021 19:49

Gregory Peck- watched ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ at secondary school and thought that he was amazing

Davros · 28/06/2021 19:50

Cary Grant

kurtney · 28/06/2021 19:52

Gary Cooper, specifically in Mr Deeds goes to Town.

And Jim Morrison. I think he was an absolute pig but so hot, even after he put on weight and grew a beard. In fact, especially after he grew a beard.

Arbadacarba · 28/06/2021 19:52

Louis XIV when he was young.

Lipsandlashes · 28/06/2021 19:52

Marlon Brando after watching Guys and Dolls, as a teenager, with my mum. I’m only 40 so way before my time

colincarrot · 28/06/2021 19:53

Fred Astaire , Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor. ..love a dancer!

laughoutquiet · 28/06/2021 19:53

Humphrey Bogart and Harrison Ford. Both dreamy Smile

Magpiecomplex · 28/06/2021 19:54

William Shatner in the TV Star Trek...

Doublestar · 28/06/2021 19:55

Burt Lancaster in "from here to eternity." Also agree with Cary Grant - I remember watching "rear window" aged about 13 and thinking it was the best film I'd ever seen!

ChrissyPlummer · 28/06/2021 19:55

Richard O’Sullivan when he was in ‘Man About the House’. First broadcast about six years before I was born.

Doublestar · 28/06/2021 19:57

Oh, and how could I forget to mention Jimmy Page? I know he's a filthy bastard but he was so gorgeous when he was younger (before drugs n drink took hold!)

Sid Barrett of pink flood too (I'm 36!)

weaselwords · 28/06/2021 19:59

Robert Plant when he was in his 20s spoiled me for any other man 😍

DoucheCanoe · 28/06/2021 19:59

That photo of young Joe Biden... I think the word is corrrr

Mine would be Cary Grant. He was 70 when I was born, but I'd have loved a go.

LubaLuca · 28/06/2021 20:02

Paul Newman. He was so unbelievably beautiful.

MrsOrMiss · 28/06/2021 20:02

Rudolph Valentino - the Sheikh. Raw sex appeal.

I blame those Turkish Delight adverts of the 1970's

MayflowerMaisie · 28/06/2021 20:04

I could never decide on Butch Cassidy or the Sundance Kid!

Rayna37 · 28/06/2021 20:04

Gene Kelly and young Elvis.
