I've just ordered something for one of my best friends; I hope she will like it. Actually I'm going to phone another best friend in a sec, COVID has been brutal I miss them all so much.

Thanks MissUS that's sweet. I think I may unexpectedly see one of my best friends later this week, I'll just jump onto his back and demand he take me home (his place is my place, he knows that). We'll finally have Xmas after COVID I have his presents.

I'm a little unsure about what to pack for another of my friends, I bought her a daft necklace which is dead cute but tacky if that makes sense? So I was agonising about it but I think she'll take it in spirit intended. I've also got her chocolate and leather notebook and book.

Then one more friend who I have matching t shirts with then I'm all up to date. COVID really blew a hole in Xmas, still trying to drop everything off

We are having Christmas on Friday as DM was alone at the real event. Tomorrow is my first rest day and I will be spending it wrapping Christmas gifts and dragging the Christmas twig down from the loft.

Turkey and Christmas pudding are proving slightly problematic and I feel we may have to make adjustments

I turned into a gushing floozy earlier, there's a new man at the supermarket who is extremely old fashioned in manners. I don't think I can cope with such noblesse over a mars bar, he hands it over with a flourish and a bow and "anything your heart requires" and I start simpering like a fool. He's only early 20s, I'd like to meet his parents. Earlier I said "you're very polite" and got some sort of waffle. I fall for it though, I start giggling

The bin store is a disgrace, the council's bin lorries have broken down. I feel sorry for the people who store their bikes at the back, there isn't any chance they can access them. They'd have to get past a wall of binbags first.

I've just got home after being away for nearly a week, few parcels awaiting, so new pair of jeans and silk bra. I thought the bra would be raspberry but it's suspiciously bright pink. It fits, anyway. It's definitely flashing its neon credentials put it that way.

I'm okay. The NYC primary elections were held yesterday. That should bring an end to nonstop TV advertising for the many candidates who were running for various offices. DD has finally straightened out how her internship is going to cover the cost of her housing and meals over the summer. It's considered wages, so taxes have to be taken out, then the money was sent to DH, who then paid the uni for the charges.

My allergies are bad this week and making me feel a bit poorly.

Our fire alarm test is every Monday at 1000hrs, I often ponder what would happen should there be an actual fire at 1000hrs on Monday.

We also have firearms training and there are often balaclava clad men lurking in the bushes. I also similarly wonder how easy it would be for a balaclava clad man to make his way round the site without anyone wondering what he was up to.

Today has been a day of opposing emotions. For those who remember my traumas, I have managed to locate a bottle of mustard ketchup in the artisan deli. In worse news, Crew have almost completely sold out of my favourite and recently ruined T-shirt, the closest one being 37 miles away.

I've gotten used to my new pink bra. I'm wearing it under a pink Diesel racer top so probably look a bit edgier than usual. I have put a wash on so should have loads of clean clothes soon. I was watching Supersize me again but may switch over to the film Damage.

Supersize me just makes me want a vegeburger.

Sunbird I think the best way to sort that accident is to balance your diet tomorrow with a box of orange matchmakers, the orange will also give your vitamin C so its healthy.

DH has gone to Pets at Home to collect 3 things I bought for the pets though I have only had the collection receipt for wabbit's snack bucket and nothing for kitten. I also pointed out there was a Chinese just by the Pets at Home store so it seemed a shame not to order one too so I ordered one and having dumplings and banana fritters. I love Chinese incase you hadn't noticed.

Looks like DD will be changing schools. Bit scary as she is mid GCSEs but its what she wants.

Mint Matchmakers? Blimey, you all have some interesting sweets. Other than the supermarket, I'm never anywhere where candy is sold.

I used to like Chinese food too, but somehow lost my taste for it during my first pregnancy and it's never come back. We also used to live near a really nice sit-down Chinese restaurant but now only have low-end take out places available.

I get to go home soon. That will be nice. Wednesday is take away night.
