Mine would be max 2 children from 1 mother.

Would not be able to deal with more than 1 ex and set of childcare arrangements.

I think age is a huge factor in how we answer.

My ex h left when my children were 4 and 5. I just thought anyone with children younger or the same age as mine would be as bad as my ex.

As the kids got older, I thought I could handle teenage children, but finally decided older independent adult offspring would be best. I was nearly 50, so the age frame was realistic.

I met a lovely man, one ex wife he was friendly with, 2 adult kids, one married, all good. Until he decided he didn't want to get involved with my teenagers, and actually rather preferred to sire a baby of his own. That put me in my place.

We really don't have a choice. It's all luck, or lack of it, as to who we meet.

I expect I'll be alone forever now. 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely none. My poor son had to deal with the piece of shit who was OW and who now has an injunction against her. There is no way I would dream of subjecting him to anybody after this.
