Silence and it's bliss 😌

LeeluTheNarwhal · 08/04/2021 11:53

DD playing Minecraft again so lots of random mooing and barking from that. The wind is roaring past the window and I can hear creaking, possibly our little tree outside. There are some birds tweeting today, hopefully they're not nesting in our gutter again.

RosesAndHellebores · 08/04/2021 23:38

You know the sort of quiet hum of a house? Someone's voice in the street at a distance. Car just went past.

JackieTheFart · 09/04/2021 05:10

Husband snoring.
Tinnitus. Has been bugging me for ages. I actually didn’t realise it wasn’t a noise from outside till recently as we live close to a main road.

ButtonMoony · 09/04/2021 05:15

About 6am it was me clattering around putting the recycling bags. Can't do it the night before as they sometimes get torn open (foxes, gulls)

BadEyeBri · 09/04/2021 07:49

Birdsong

thebabessavedme · 09/04/2021 08:47

I woke in the night (live in the centre of a city) and could hear an owl, was about 3am - lockdown has been very strange really, usually all I can hear at night is traffic, sirens, people etc, its been lovely to hear the dawn corous, the night birds and living in an apartment I have heard the neighbours, things like piano playing, chatting in the summer when we all have windows open, almost seems a shame we have to 'unlock' (wont say that when Im down the pub though Grin)
