Next door to the left drilling something into the adjoining wall, next door to the right smashing flags in the front garden, stepson upstairs screaming at his computer game.

It's not the ideal working atmosphere today if I'm honest 😂😂😂😂

The clock on the mantelpiece. The distant hum of the fan oven from the kitchen (I'm roasting aubergine for later). An occasional car passing outside. Enjoying the silence.

Tinnitus

Major building work happening next door. I have surprisingly got used to it. A month so far, my neighbour on the other side is not coping with the noise levels. I bumped in to her outside and we went for a walk. It will be another month at least.

I can hear ndn stupid music that has been playing since 8am, because I asked her to turn it down she whacked it up and had ronan keating on loop, been listening to her shite for a year. The other side I think are tunnelling their way to Australia, there's been a digger in there for 2 months now.

The Witches on t.v, youngest constantly asking questions about it instead of fricking watching it!

to everyone with tinnitus on here. I'm in that club too unfortunately but at least it's not the only thing we can hear!

Tinnitus......a busy rain forest in my head, the sound of me munching an apple and dogs barking every time a sparrow farts 2 miles away.

Wee birds chirping outside window. A cooshy doo a bit further away.

The dehumidifier that's been in place all week since a bathroom leak brought the kitchen ceiling down 😢

I think all of us have a low level humming in ears from technology? You don't notice it normally as we're so accustomed to it

Ds shouting at a game he's playing on the iPad, the tumble drier, dishwasher and dd and her friend baking a carrot cake.

DH sniffing. Drives me mad.
