That's it really. I am (idly) wondering what I'll have, and there seem to be so many great choices - and some terrible ones

Our first dance was to All You Need Is Love by the Beatles. I really didn’t want a first dance but DH did. I can’t remember what I walked down the aisle to, we walked back up to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons - spring if I remember rightly.

StormBaby · 25/02/2021 21:18

I didn’t have one at my first wedding.

You Do Something To Me - Paul Weller when I married my now-DH

AnneElliott · 25/02/2021 21:20

From this moment by Shania Twain

RoseLavenderBlue · 25/02/2021 21:21

@Susiesue61 I also had The Perfect Year by Dina Carroll!

PrancerandDancer · 25/02/2021 21:22

@Ohwhatbliss

We had Drops of Jupiter by Train, not a love song as such but "our song" and the meaning resonated with us on our wedding day
This is one of my all time favourite songs.

We had "No One" by Alicia Keys. Still get goosebumps on the first bars :)

Pyewackect · 25/02/2021 21:27

Come Fly With Me , Frank Sinatra ( My husband had just qualified as a commercial pilot )

CuteOrangeElephant · 25/02/2021 21:28

Neither DH or I can remember Blush

We do remember the three ceremony songs, Flowers in the Window by Travis, Waterfall by The Stone Roses and Another Day by Jamie Liddell. Or so we think. It's really embarrassing considering how much time we spent discussing it Grin

Ihaventgottimeforthis · 25/02/2021 21:33

Left the church to Serious by Richard Hawley
First dance was I'm in the mood for love, skatalites version, but by our wedding band

FolkyFoxFace · 25/02/2021 21:34

You Got Me Singing - Leonard Cohen!

GloomyWaters · 25/02/2021 21:34

I hated the idea but on the night we plumped for Dancing Queen Abba

Neverspeakofthisagain · 25/02/2021 21:36

La Mer - Frank Sinatra

'Somewhere beyond the sea' :)

Divorced now but there are so many fab tunes I'm going to have to get out there pronto and make sure I do it at least once more!

Great choice
TwoZeroTwoZero · 25/02/2021 21:47

Neither of us can remember! We didn't choose it because we weren't bothered and we don't share the same taste in music but our guests pushed us up onto the dancefloor, the dj played something and we just sort of shuffled about for a bit. We were rather drunk by that point and it's just a blur now!

Littlewhitedove · 25/02/2021 21:55

Don't Know Much by Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville.

NormaSnickers · 25/02/2021 22:00

We had Use Somebody by Kings of Leon. Still love that song!

TheresOnlyOneWayOfLife · 25/02/2021 22:03

We didn't want everyone looking at us (and he's never danced in public)
So the wedding band chose Have I Told You Lately by Van Morrison.

Walked into the registry office to
You Take My Breath Away by Eva Cassidy
Signed the register to Rainy Night in Soho by Pogues
Walked out to You're Not Alone by Embrace

Shallow07 · 25/02/2021 22:07

Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac Smile

Impatientwino · 25/02/2021 22:09
