Aside from the slightly acquired decorative taste... wtf is with them sneaking their tea set (or part of it) into as many pictures as possible? Grin bonus points when it’s photographed with muffins or a cheese board...

That is hilarious! Someone is obviously trying to sell a “lifestyle” Grin

fairgame84 · 13/02/2021 21:53
Grin Must be a MN trying to get her house on a property porn thread.
megletthesecond · 13/02/2021 21:55

I'm surprised they didn't pop it on the top step or the driveway Grin.

gamerchick · 13/02/2021 21:56

The wonky muffin is a bit irritating though.

WonkyCactus · 13/02/2021 21:58

Grin Do you think it comes with the house?

The ghostly Victorian child painting in one of the bedroom fireplaces is creepy!

Covidcorvid · 13/02/2021 22:00

I hate “arty” house photos where it’s close ups of furniture or ornaments. They’re not bloody staying!

Still it distracts you from the shit decor I guess!

InsaneLockdowner · 13/02/2021 22:00

I'm also concerned that there's a touch of 1980s stylee Poirot going on in one of the bathrooms!

I really wish they have managed to get it in every photo! Tea in the bathroom anyone? Love the cheese board too!

Thecazelets · 13/02/2021 22:04

Quite surprised not to see the tea-tray balanced at a jaunty angle on the loo seat

Moomoolandmoomooland · 13/02/2021 22:05

It looks like the brochure for an old B&B. I was disappointed there wasn't a picture of a child on a trike on that long corridor with the red carpet.

I half expected the picture of the front door to have the tea set in it.

Alternista · 13/02/2021 22:10

Oh god it’s brilliant. Like Where’s Wally in Bone China.

Am irrationally angry about the photos it’s not in...

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 13/02/2021 22:12

Apart from the creepy staircase behind the door in photo 36 , that house is bloody gorgeous !

Fireplace in the hallway !

BaronessVonCake · 13/02/2021 22:13

What a gorgeous house from the outside!

doodlejump1980 · 13/02/2021 22:13

Definitely haunted. Nope

Greenevalley · 13/02/2021 22:13

I'd put my back out trying to reach the toilet paper where that loo with the wooden seat is. Its so narrow too, like having a wee in a railway corridor!

2018SoFarSoGreat · 13/02/2021 22:14

I admit to magnifying all of the pics to find the teacup. Sad when not found.

(I could not help wondering how they'd cope if they got fleas.... All those fabrics!

Nith · 13/02/2021 22:15

What do they imagine is added by pointless close up photos of bits of furniture (and the teaser) and frustrating glimpses of rooms through half open doors? None of that is ever going to induce me to buy a house.

ThatsnotmyBorishishairistoneat · 13/02/2021 22:15

That is stunning!

Zenithbear · 13/02/2021 22:16

It's hideously decorated, however I am now planning to make muffins tomorrow Grin
The cakes are the tastiest thing about it but with the right decor it could be beautiful but still not for me.

BiBabbles · 13/02/2021 22:16

It did feel like that tea set was following around the house - that and the haunting eyes of that creepy child in the fireplace painting in photo 29 that WonkyCactus already mentioned.

So many fireplaces, so many things that look awkward to clean, and it looks like one toilet looks out on the garden that has the naked statue in it -- gotta have some bollocks to look at while shitting (then awkwardly turning around for toilet paper).

Emmelina · 13/02/2021 22:16

Picture 35 I’m disappointed there’s not a little boy on a tricycle!

Scarby9 · 13/02/2021 22:16

I wonder if it is their teaset, or the Estate Agent or photographer's prop?

I can see the design concept meeting back at the office:

'But how would you sum up the ESSENCE of this property? If it were an animal, what animal would it be? If it were a flavour, what flavour would it be? I'm thinking...teaset!!!'

Londonmummy66 · 13/02/2021 22:17

Hello the 80's want their frilly pelmets back.....

tshirtsuntan · 13/02/2021 22:17

I'll wait for you lot in the dining room, at least you can get a proper drink in there Grin
