We're having bangers & mash, with veg, yorkshire puddings & gravy. Dd2's helping to cook.

What's everyone else having? :)

Lamb hotpot. Haven't had it in ages. I'm really looking forward to it!

midnightstar66 · 07/02/2021 12:14

Chicken parmigiana, paraminter potatoes and mixed veg, followed by vanilla cheese cake

lucysmam · 07/02/2021 12:16

Ooh midnight, I haven't made that in years. Might make it one night this week maybe!

6.5L slow cooker full of mince and tatties with leftovers going into a pie tomorrow

Dementedswan · 07/02/2021 12:18

Gammon... haven't decided what to have with it yet. Usually have homemade chips and egg but fancy something different.

Brunt0n · 07/02/2021 12:19

Roast chicken, mash and veg... and maybe sticky toffee pudding for dessert since it’s Sunday 😁

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 07/02/2021 12:20

Idle Pie and Buttered Cabbage.

Smileandtheworldsmileswithyou · 07/02/2021 12:20

We had spiced chicken breasts with potato wedges and a Greek salad. I had blue cheese dressing with it too as I’m loving that at the moment. Little French pastries and a hot chocolate for dessert.

Workyticket · 07/02/2021 12:22

Pizzas with home made base. Just done our meal plan for the week and dp is currently at the supermarket

Only started meal planning during lockdown and 10 minutes thinking on a Sunday morning makes life way easier during the week

nightscreams · 07/02/2021 12:23

Either a spicy Cuban chicken or spicy veggie pasta and garlic bread depending what I feel like cooking.

Justonedayatatime11 · 07/02/2021 12:25

Slow cooked beef, mash and veg, followed by creme egg brownies. Yum

Roominmyhouse · 07/02/2021 12:25

Got a brisket in the slow cooker smothered in a mix of bbq and hot sauce. Will have that with home made chips and salad. Yum!

sleepyhead · 07/02/2021 12:26

Nigella chicken, sausage, sage & onion traybake.

I stick baby potatoes in the tray to roast with it so it's just one pan + a green veg. So tasty.

WeAllHaveWings · 07/02/2021 12:27

Chicken and spinach alfredo (very creamy garlic/egg yolk/parmesan sauce) on pasta

PopsicleHustler · 07/02/2021 12:30

I ended up cooling the roast yesterday as fancies it yesterday. Was quite funny having a roast chicken on a Saturday instead.

So tonight am cooking Nigerian dish for the Nigerian hubby and kids. Which involves peppers, prawns and spinach with yam

Ninkanink · 07/02/2021 12:31

Roast chicken with sage and onion stuffing. Roasties for DH and roast celeriac for me. Fried cabbage on the side.

InDubiousBattle · 07/02/2021 12:34

Roast chicken, roasties, stuffing, yorkshires, carrot&swede mashed up, green beans. Black forest gateaux for pudding.

Tehmina23 · 07/02/2021 12:34

I live alone so I'm just having a Vienna Roll (white bread roll with poppy seeds) with cooked chicken breast strips from Tesco & Blue Dragon sweet chilli sauce yum.

Dollywilde · 07/02/2021 12:36

Roast chicken with feta and tomato stuffing and orzo. We got the Diana Henry Oven to Table cookbook for Christmas and it’s my favourite so far.

HermioneKipper · 07/02/2021 12:38

Veggie toad in the hole, mustard mash and broccoli here with Iots of onion gravy. I’ve made an apple and cinnamon crumble for pudding too. Haven’t got any ice cream or custard though. Might have to send DH to the shops

InDubiousBattle · 07/02/2021 12:39

Ninkanink stupid question but how do you make your fried cabbage? I've never had it. Fried that is, I've had cabbage!

MaverickDanger · 07/02/2021 12:39

Pulled pork loaded nachos
Loaded potato skins
Onion rings
Frankfurter hotdogs

Going American themed for the Super Bowl that we won’t be able to stay awake for!

midnightstar66 · 07/02/2021 12:40

@lucysmam I've a confession to make. The chicken, potatoes and cheese cake are from a Tesco meal deal where you choose a main, side, desert and bottle of wine for £10. DC are at their dads so I can never be bothered to properly cook for just me and this is far cheaper than a takeaway. I'll add the veg (Birdseye steam fresh from the freezer) and some raspberries and cream to the cheesecake. All pretty tasty for very little effort. The portions are too small with out significantly padding it out for the 2 adults it's intended for but it will make a nice slightly extravagant portion for 1 to be enjoyed tonight along with the wine to celebrate the fact it's half term and don't have to get up tomorrow (I work in a school). Grin

Ninkanink · 07/02/2021 12:40

I’ve recently got Oven to Table as well and that’s one of the recipes I’ve got my eye on...haven’t cooked it as I’m lowcarbing so don’t eat pasta. But I bet it’s delicious!
