Previous question: When will bearlyactive start a new thread?

My answer: Give it a few weeks. Or months. Maybe she'll wait until NYE 2022 actually.

My question: Why are you people so impatient? Grin

It was riding on the back of miss muffet’s spider. No wonder she ran away.

Why was the song sung blue?

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 04/03/2021 19:02

Because Barbra wouldn't bring Neil any flowers & so made him cry.
She got so fed up with him crying that she wrote 'No More Tears (Enough is Enough) with her mate Donna.

Now who was Donna's 'Hot Stuff'?

x2boys · 04/03/2021 19:08

Was the summer of 69 really the best days of Bryan Adams life?

bearlyactive · 05/03/2021 08:24

Absolutely!

Will the summer of '21 be today's teenagers' equivalent of the summer of '69?

Summer of 21 has been cancelled.

How much breakfast does an 8yo human need?

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 05/03/2021 20:48

3 full Englishes, 5 McDonald's Double Sausage & Egg McMuffin a bowl of Heinz Tomato soup. Should fill an 8 yr old human up till lunchtime.

Is my tabby cat very clever as she's learnt how to bat her little fluffy toy ball down the stairs to me, so I can throw it back up to her so she can 'kill' it then after the ball has been 'killed' she bats it back down to me so we can do the same thing again?
(Proud Cat Mother 😻)

x2boys · 05/03/2021 20:51

She's a Mumsnet cat so clearly a genius
Why do I now want a McDonald's breakfast????

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 05/03/2021 21:00

Because it's breakfast time.

Why are men so loud on Zoom?

x2boys · 05/03/2021 21:09

Because they think it's called Boom
Why do my boys need food just before bed?

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 05/03/2021 21:13

Because they are nocturnal superheroes.

Will the Masked Dancer be as good as the Masked Singer?

OP posts:
TracyBeakerSoYeah · 07/03/2021 15:51

Not as good as the Masked Invisible Man/Woman. You'll have to see it to believe it.

Should I spend the electricity/gas bill money on a load of cosmetics/skincare/perfume at SpaceNK as they're doing a special offer where if you spend £175 on stuff you get a free gift with purchase full of miniature things that you won't probably use & will have to sell on eBay if you get round to it?

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 07/03/2021 16:01

Sounds logical.

How long will the school run take tomorrow?

bearlyactive · 07/03/2021 17:01

Why is MN so sloooooow?

OP posts:
TripleSeptic · 07/03/2021 21:12

It's not, you've had one too many coffee today and you're running at hyperspeed, so it seems slow in comparison. Mumsnet wouldn't go slow or be glitchy!

Mint Viscount or Wagon Wheel with jam inside? What to have with my cup of tea?

SheldonesqueIsUnwell · 07/03/2021 21:13

Mint viscount. Splinters don’t go well with a cuppy.

How far up my wellies will the mud come tomorrow?

bearlyactive · 08/03/2021 07:20

About 0.00001 of a centimetre. And even then it'll just be dust because the UK hasn't had any rain for weeks.

Will the system crash because millions of lateral flow tests are going to be registered over the next few days?

OP posts:
SheldonesqueIsUnwell · 08/03/2021 13:32

Major flow -not lateral but literal - over my wellies as it was goofing dow here. I crashed out when I got back.

Does that count?
