Apologies for crappy newspaper link and Loose women link but it shows the whole tattoo...

Now I have nothing against tattoos at all, or Brooklyn Beckham as he's all but disappeared recently but surely he's going to regret that at some point?
I have a son a bit younger than BB and if he had that tattoo I would be very Hmm. He'll be off to the Tattoo fixers for a mahoosive cover up...

Or am I just being an old fart?

I actually think its well done and unique. I have 8 tattoos.

MustardMitt · 25/01/2021 14:56

OMG what an absolute idiot. It’s awful.

Something to honour and immortalise his fiancée - that he can’t even see?! And imo is really ugly.

Oh well. It’s his body. That’s the sort of thing I’d be so embarrassed about I would possibly dump him for it.

Sparklingbrook · 25/01/2021 14:57

I have often pondered a small one, Georgia Tennant has 'David' tattooed on her wrist and I think it's lovely.. whoever did it did a good job, I think it's just the eyes and the written stuff is so well, irreversible. He's only 21.

I think the quality of the tattooing is great but he's going to be spending a lot of time under a laser if the relationship ends.

Sparklingbrook · 25/01/2021 14:58

Do tattoo artists ever ask 'are you absolutely sure about this?' or do they just tattoo whatever the customer wants?

OP posts:
MustardMitt · 25/01/2021 14:59

They do ask that and they do check spelling as well. But mistakes still happen.

MyGorramShip · 25/01/2021 15:00

That’s hideous quality, where did he have it done, his mates kitchen?!

Whatsnewpussyhat · 25/01/2021 15:01

It will be cute until the divorce.

The eyes look weird

Sparklingbrook · 25/01/2021 15:01

I could never be a tattoo artist. Such responsibility! I like the Tattoo Fixers show although their cover ups are very large they are works of art.

My friend has had her arm done with one of the very colourful tattoos and it's beautiful.

I'd be amazed if they are still together in 10 years time

Sparklingbrook · 25/01/2021 15:03

I suppose he could always grow his hair long. Grin

Creepy!

Imissmoominmama · 25/01/2021 15:04

I saw this in the news yesterday. I can’t see why it was newsworthy, other than to him, his fiancée and maybe his friends, who probably slapped their foreheads when they heard Grin.

I haven't seen much of the Beckhams in the media lately. Not sure what they are all up to.

“Your future wifey” - urgh

justanotherneighinparadise · 25/01/2021 15:06

Yeah. He’ll be lasering that off in a decade or so.

I look at pictures of Justin Beiber and think he also can’t look at himself and have no regrets. I mean good tattoos on young fit bodies are great. But bad tattoos on anyone just looks shit.

TerribleCustomerCervix · 25/01/2021 15:07

Tiny script, a comparatively huge paragraph and a pair of rather odd looking eyes.

What’s the point? If he got it on his arm or somewhere he could actually read it, fair enough, but the placement is just weird.

pinbinpin · 25/01/2021 15:07

That is hideous, but equally, that is the kind of ill-judged shit that 21 year olds do and he can afford to have it lasered off at some point so, meh.

Hideous tattoo though, and how is he meant to read it?

sundaysgirls · 25/01/2021 15:07

'Read this anytime' Confused not when it's on the back of his neck he won't 🤣

CoffeeRunner · 25/01/2021 15:10

Why have it somewhere you can’t even read it? Hardly comforting is it?

I just don’t understand why you would do that.

mummytolittledragons · 25/01/2021 15:11

Brooklyn is a wealthy 21 year old who lives in the USA . I really don't think he cares what some idiotic middle aged British TV hosts think about his tattoos.

Of course he doesn't-why would he? That wasn't really the point of the thread (I did apologise for the newspaper link and the Loose Woman stuff in the OP)

It was the tattoo itself which raised my eyebrows.

The letter is embarrassing but think I wrote something equally throw up worthy at 19 to first love. I’m glad he nor I put it on our skin 😂 he was quite a few loves ago now ! The eyes are creepy too . He seems a bit obsessed with her

katy1213 · 25/01/2021 15:19

The next fiancée will really love that!

ZackaryQuack · 25/01/2021 15:28

I love tattoos, I think they're a great outlet for expressing yourself and marking significant times in your life.
That said if dh did this I would have called him an idiot because it's naff. But you know, each to their own, it's his body to decorate how he see's fit, I just think at 21 and 4 dedicated tattoos is a bit extreme.

Dh and I have a tattoo each that nods at the others, so not the same but similar.
