Now I have nothing against tattoos at all, or Brooklyn Beckham as he's all but disappeared recently but surely he's going to regret that at some point?
I have a son a bit younger than BB and if he had that tattoo I would be very Hmm. He'll be off to the Tattoo fixers for a mahoosive cover up...

Or am I just being an old fart?

I’ve never understood tattoos that are placed where the owner can’t see them! I have tattoos but they are for me and I love them, they make me happy when I see them. My friend got her wedding date tattoo’d on the back of her neck - it’s actually a nice tattoo but she will never see it?! Bizarre!
As for Brooklyn’s oddity, it’s ridiculous.

Maybe one line from her love letter and not the eyes. That would have been quite nice.
Maybe the fiancee will get something he's written and his eyes in the same place. Grin

Well, maybe VB has secretly invested the family fortune in a laser tattoo removal company, and she's been encouraging David and Brooklyn to get as inky as possible so she can display them, all cleaned up and ready to go again in 2021?

I don't get it - it's a letter from her to him, in the back of his neck where he can't read it? It would make more sense to be a letter from him to her surely?

I was all set to say YABU as I love and have tattoos. But then I saw it. Statistically the relationship won't last, especially when you are so in the public eye. Massive mistake.

I think lots of young men (and women) have tattoos these days. I'm not keen but can't get worked up about it.

Yes, it's super cringey. I'm sure he'll think so too in a few years. But it'll be easy enough to cover up, and he'll likely be heavily tattooed by then anyway. Heavily tattooed people almost always have a fair few tattoos they don't like much anymore, but it's less of a worry when you have tons of others anyway. Not like when you only have a couple.

I wouldn't call it a massive mistake. A tattoo is so easily coverable, it's only a massive mistake if it negatively affects your life in some way. If he breaks up with her one day, he can get it covered. No major problem.
