Apologies for crappy newspaper link and Loose women link but it shows the whole tattoo...

www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/loose-women-star-dubs-brooklyn-23380682

Now I have nothing against tattoos at all, or Brooklyn Beckham as he's all but disappeared recently but surely he's going to regret that at some point?
I have a son a bit younger than BB and if he had that tattoo I would be very Hmm. He'll be off to the Tattoo fixers for a mahoosive cover up...

Or am I just being an old fart?

I am torn as DS is the same age as him at 21, the fiancee is 26 but massively wealthy.

Jesus that’s bad Shock

I’m not anti tattoo, my 19 year old DD has a few little ones, but I’d hate her to get something as big and noticeable as that! And what if they split up!

Carysmatthews · 25/01/2021 17:29

My son is the same age as Brooklyn so I’ve always kept a casual eye on where he’s up to. Poor lad has absolutely no reason or motivation to do well in life. He appears to have lurched from one thing to another and from one girl to another since he left school. Those two are doing non of their kids any favours.

Defenbaker · 25/01/2021 17:30

Awful and pretentious. Nice words but having them on his back surely defeats the object, if he's meant to read them whenever he feels down. The eyes are just freaky.

Attention seeking nonsense.

IthinkIm · 25/01/2021 17:30

Read this anytime you like.

Has he got eyes in the back of his head?

Fairyliz · 25/01/2021 17:31

I have a family member who’s job involves removing tattoos.
At the last count their net worth was £7 million. I bet they will be smiling when they see that.

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 25/01/2021 17:33

'Your future wifey' vom 🤮

NerrSnerr · 25/01/2021 17:38

If he likes it then it's fine. If their relationship doesn't last he can afford to get it lasered off.

I'm sure he won't be crying into his cornflakes because people on Mumsnet hate it. Lots of 21 year olds do things that older people think is stupid- and the more people who comment on things like this the more column inches he gets.

MechantGourmet · 25/01/2021 17:40

@sundaysgirls

'Read this anytime' Confused not when it's on the back of his neck he won't 🤣
This! How is he going to read it?

Oh dear.

Choux · 25/01/2021 17:42

The co-ordinates are somewhere in Fitzrovia. He hasn't got his address tattooed on his neck surely????

sundaysgirls · 25/01/2021 17:45

Maybe it's where they met?
SundaySleep · 25/01/2021 17:48

I couldn’t give a toss what was on another persons body

Sparklingbrook · 25/01/2021 17:50

If the fiancee doesn't get one signed off 'your future hubster' I wiil be disappointed.

@Sparklingbrook

Do tattoo artists ever ask 'are you absolutely sure about this?' or do they just tattoo whatever the customer wants?
I always wonder this!
Candleabra · 25/01/2021 17:53

And yes it's awful. Makes me glad I had absolutely no money at that age - no temptation to get any expensive and ill advised early relationship reminders.

sundaysgirls · 25/01/2021 17:55

Those coordinates are just off Three Houses Lane near the B656 in Knebworth.

SimonJT · 25/01/2021 17:55

The quality of the tattoo seems to be very good, but the scale of the eyes are slightly odd.

A tattoo can easily be covered up or removed if you want to in the future.

A good tattoo artist will have spent considerable time designing the tattoo with you, a bad tattoo artist will open the book of ‘options’.

My longest design session was four/five hour long sessions to get it just right.

ComtesseDeSpair · 25/01/2021 17:57

To be fair, marriage is a long-term commitment and the resulting divorce wipes many people out emotionally and financially. It’ll be a multitude times cheaper and easier and involve fewer people to get this tattoo removed / covered if and when he decides he doesn’t want it anymore than it will be to get divorced. In that context, tattoo to accompany marriage, both equally fine or equally mistakes, depending how you feel about marriage.

WomenAreBornNotWorn · 25/01/2021 17:59

He's copying Zayn Malik, who had Gigi's eyes tattooed on his chest. Which looked a whole lot better as Gigi has very unique features.

CoronaIsWatching · 25/01/2021 18:02

I don't think there's anyone alive as self indulgent and spoilt as this guy

NotYourReindeer · 25/01/2021 18:02

Bless him.

He's wildly in love and wants her and the world to know that he is serious about her.

He's led a sheltered and privileged life and he's doing no harm, just getting a schmaltzy tattoo that he may well regret later in life.

Leave him be. Some of these comments- we may be beaten down by life and know what's what but that's the way it works. You live you learn. Let him do the same .

Samcro · 25/01/2021 18:06

Ds wanted a tattoo on his hand when he was 18, tattoo guy talked him out of it.
I like tattoos.
I just do not get why BB is famous.

Carriemac · 25/01/2021 18:08

Hope she has a prenup

Ylvamoon · 25/01/2021 18:08

🤦‍♀️ I hope its "Try before you buy" !
