Apologies for crappy newspaper link and Loose women link but it shows the whole tattoo...

www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/loose-women-star-dubs-brooklyn-23380682

Now I have nothing against tattoos at all, or Brooklyn Beckham as he's all but disappeared recently but surely he's going to regret that at some point?
I have a son a bit younger than BB and if he had that tattoo I would be very Hmm. He'll be off to the Tattoo fixers for a mahoosive cover up...

Or am I just being an old fart?

@Samcro

Ds wanted a tattoo on his hand when he was 18, tattoo guy talked him out of it. I like tattoos. I just do not get why BB is famous.
He's famous because of his parents... What's to get? Clearly there's an appetite for such banality because multiple talk shows and tabloids and internet forums are talking about it.

"Son of footballer gets lame tattoo"

Apparently a very interesting bit of news to many.

It’s awful considering almost everyone agrees to avoid getting a lover’s name or similar tattooed and for good reason - because shit happens. No one ever thinks they’ll split up or divorce when the going is good but guess what, millions upon millions do. That and it REALLY bugs me how it says “read this when you’re sad” and yet he won’t be able to read it because it will be the mirror image!!

Sparklingbrook · 25/01/2021 18:12

A tattoo can easily be covered up or removed if you want to in the future.

Don't agree about the 'removed' bit. I watched a programme where someone was getting theirs lasered. Absolutely horrible.
I don't think you should get a tattoo with the attitude that you can just cover it up or get it removed-especially not large ones. Think it through at least.

@ComtesseDeSpair

To be fair, marriage is a long-term commitment and the resulting divorce wipes many people out emotionally and financially. It’ll be a multitude times cheaper and easier and involve fewer people to get this tattoo removed / covered if and when he decides he doesn’t want it anymore than it will be to get divorced. In that context, tattoo to accompany marriage, both equally fine or equally mistakes, depending how you feel about marriage.
This is really interesting!
WunWun · 25/01/2021 18:13

That's one of the cringiest tattoos I've ever seen. Really fucking awful.

Sparklingbrook · 25/01/2021 18:14

I think VB has been busy getting some of hers removed.

It was the Tattoo above the eyebrow I saw for the first time today. I dislike face tattoos a lot.
I like a good tattoo. But not when it can't be covered up if you choose.

I saw that but wasn't sure if it was actually a permanent tattoo? But I agree face tattoos are generally not a good look.

Spoilt rich kid gets a tattoo, And that is news lol
Remember the time he flunked his photography course and it was Front page news 😂

Aw bless, young love

CorvusPurpureus · 25/01/2021 18:20

Lasering isn't actually much fun. I had a tattoo re-done (it was ok, but not a great job - I love the design but didn't choose my tattooist carefully enough - so I went to someone better a few years later, to get it 'sharpened' & more detail added).

This involved some sessions of lasering, & a) it stings quite a bit b) it smells like a barbecue, which is mildly off putting & c) it fades stuff, it doesn't totally disappear it.

If he ever decides he doesn't want that on the back of his neck for the rest of his life, realistically he's looking at a cover up, not lasering it off.

But meh. Yes, it is pretty tacky, but I'm sure he'll be able to afford the do-over.

AKissAndASmile · 25/01/2021 18:21

Oh my god!

Yes the lasering off looked painful and the burnt flesh thing.

He can have a huge picture of his Mother's face or something over it.

I wouldn't go for it myself but if it's 'the worst thing she's ever seen' she must have led quite a sheltered life? Hmm

littlepattilou · 25/01/2021 18:25

Shit tattoo. And off-topic slightly, but I just find Brooklyn Beckham so pointless. Famous only for having famous parents. How embarrassing.

Sparklingbrook · 25/01/2021 18:27

I had the most gorgeous boyfriend when I was 21. He was beautiful. He used to write me letters but funnily enough I never thought to get them tattooed onto me. Best to just laminate the letter/frame it. Practical.

TheChosenTwo · 25/01/2021 18:27

Meh. I don’t like any tattoos so I think his looks as shit as anyone else’s skin scribbles but it’s not on me so I have no other feelings or thoughts on it!

Sparklingbrook · 25/01/2021 18:29

I love Georgia Tennant's, not a great pic but it's just lower case 'david'.

Aah the lower case d in David would (irrationally) bug me if I saw it.

IEat · 25/01/2021 18:32

Nothing can be worse than a rose covering your both arse cheeks aka Chezza

Oh god I had forgotten about that one. That was HUGE-was it to cover something else or she just fancied a massive arse tattoo?
