As we live in the northern hemisphere and above the 40 th parallel we don’t get enough sunshine so every man , woman and child need vitd3 with k2 to help absorption.
Since we started taking it every day for 18 months , apart from our two Tenerife holidays, we find we don’t get sick.
We also take a zinc supplement and a multi vitamin b. Every day with breakfast.
I barely drink, my dh has a couple of glasses of red wine a night. Neither of us smoke, although he has in the past.
We are both intolerant to gluten and dairy . We haven’t eaten them since July 2019.
We’ve never had a cold , well I can’t remember when, certainly not last year
If you are intolerant, it increases inflammation in the body, in the sinuses, in the digestive system.
I also recently found fructose glucose syrup is a huge no no and hydrogenated fat.
I make my own cakes, occasionally and I make smashing little yorkShire puds
Keep an eye on your elimination process. Everything should flow. At least once a day. There’s a school of thought after every meal. Whatever sits right for you but constipation is very detrimental.
I can’t stress enough the importance of water. Keeping the bowel and organs hydrated is vital, especially for pees and poos.
Water. Pure water. I’m wondering why someone is buying water. A zero water filter removes all impurities. They even send you a TDS meter with it.
Our tap water is about 535 on the meter , so we are heavy on filters.
I need zero water to make my colloidal silver which I take every day, to help fight off infections.
If you have a respiratory infection you can nebulise or vapour use it with cs and a couple of drops of food grade hydrogen peroxide.
Stress is very detrimental to the immune system. Most people are suffering to some extent.
It’s vital to go for a walk , every day if possible.
There’s lots of ideas on the internet to help with that, so I won’t list them all here
I love my little essential oil lamp diffuser.
They aren’t expensive. I got one from Amazon for £14 with a remote control. So put it on just before bed. I find a mix of lavender, geranium and peppermint really soothing.
I also play some soothing music.
I’m looking into colour therapy at the moment. Red is very good for digestive issues, green for stress.
Be sure to get essential oils not fragrance oils.
I limit my use of chemicals. Natural deodorants, shampoos and conditioners that have little harmful chemicals in them. Same with moisturisers. I use perfume sparingly.
These are just a few things we/I do
We sound like a right bundle of laughs but we are getting through this as healthily as possible and laying down good foundations for older age now.
