Mine would be
(1) Philip Cairns, disappeared in 1986 from Dublin. He was 13

(2 )Trevor Deely, disappeared walking home from a Christmas party in 2000.

(3). Raonaid Murray murdered yards from her home. She was only 17.
Never been solved.

@ToffeeNotCoffee

*I think JL/PF and Murdoch. Who do you think is genuinely a killer.

Somebody who was in trouble all their life or someone on holiday.*

There's a lot more to this. I keep coming back to, 'where is Peter Falconio's body ?'

The story of it being a drug deal/drug run gone wrong might / might not be true.

I think Murdoch is part of the story, not the whole story.

Yes agree with Murdoch being part of the story but not the whole story.

I wondered if JL/PF had got involved in something to fund their trip and it went wrong somehow.

I really believe that the rapist had something to do with it. It's strange that it was only men that seemed to fall in the canal.

Will be interesting to see if it stops now that he's in prison. I appreciate there will always be some accidents on non fenced off waterways but perhaps the numbers will go down.

It's strange that it was only men that seemed to fall in the canal.

Women do fall into that canal - one of my friends has fallen in and I very nearly did - but women don't usually go to gay bars alone and very rarely walk home alone late at night so if they fall in they just get fished out straight away, no biggie.

The population of that part of Manchester is mostly male late at night, and it's a gay cruising area. Not all gay bars are welcoming towards women, and women tend to hang out inside the clubs or immediately in front of them.

Not to be promoting stereotypes, but a woman on a fun night out in a gay bar isn't going to be doing PNP or getting involved with the chemsex scene. I'm not saying women don't do drugs or get drunk, or that all gay men do those things, but IME straight women who go to gay bars mostly just want to drink cocktails and giggle, not do meth or ket and have anonymous hookups in the bushes.

Claudia Lawrence
Suzie Lamplugh
Madeleine McCann

Martin Allen, a boy of 15, who looked much younger. He was abducted and witnesses saw him with his abductor on the London Underground. Some noticed he appeared upset, no one intervened. No trace of him was ever found despite a huge search.

Andrew Gosden

This is an interesting read

Canals can be really difficult to get out of, it depends on the depth where you fall in. I have direct experience of this having fallen in from a boat. ( I also helped rescue someone from a canal, she was clinging to the side, too deep to get a foothold, wet clothing weighing her down). Men seem to drown in waterways more than women and I remember reading that drunk men will often pee into the canal, then risk falling in.

lollipopsandrainbows · 21/03/2021 16:03

We have a young boy missing near me, Mateusz Lugowski. I walk along that canal pretty regularly, and sadly I do believe the friends he was with aren't being as helpful as they can be. Many people have fallen into this canal after a night up, and they do eventually turn up Sad.

I'm also not sure on Jeremy Bamber, and if we will never know the whole story.

Would love the Madeline McCann and Andrew Gosden cases to be solved, even if it's a terrible outcome so their families have peace.

But in all of the cases on here, the not knowing must be terrible.

Gareth Williams.

Christopher Schliach, Henry Bright, William Dalziel and Micheal Boothe, they were likely murdered by the same person.

Stephen Lawrence, far far too many people protecting his killers.

@Louerin

I have only one 😞

Noah Donohue
This 14yr old left his home in Belfast 30 weeks ago (june) to meet friends and never arrived. He was found one week later naked, deep in a storm drain. A boy who was afraid of the dark. Noah's Army are pushing for the truth but there are lots of unanswered questions and irregularities thar the PSNI seem to be avoiding.

A 14yr old boy went missing and the news channels / popular radio have been completely ignoring the story. There is definitely something not right and his mother deserves to know what happened to her only child. His mother and family have resorted to seeking their own answers to questions that need answered. It is truely heartbreaking.

Completely agree, if only this case could be solved to bring peace to his dear mother. It is the detrimental police involvement and appearance of a police cover up that I can't comprehend. Who is worth more protection than a child?

Noah Donohue. Bewildering and heartbreaking.
