Mine would be
(1) Philip Cairns, disappeared in 1986 from Dublin. He was 13

(2 )Trevor Deely, disappeared walking home from a Christmas party in 2000.

(3). Raonaid Murray murdered yards from her home. She was only 17.
Never been solved.

Asha Degree. Best theory I've read is that she was groomed but the groomer met her at her front door/in her driveway, transported her somewhere, and something happened and she got away from him temporarily.

The Panama girls - there's a ton of evidence to suggest they didn't simply get lost in the jungle.

Jon Benet Ramsey. The actual method of killing was so brutal and involved at least a degree of pre-planning (she was strangled using a homemade garotte). I agree it had to be someone in the house.

On the other hand there's nothing remotely mysterious or strange about Elisa Lam, just deeply tragic.

That and how long it took to write that huge 'ransom' letter while in the house. Can think of many abductors who write a 30 minute ransom letter when the victim is dead in the house!

Mh370 flight. Ok, it crashed but where and why? Hijack, pilot suicide, engine malfunction?

Mh370 flight. Ok, it crashed but where and why? Hijack, pilot suicide, engine malfunction?

In the middle of a very very very very very large ocean.

Pilot suicide - there was flight simulator footage found on the pilots home computer of a wrong route very similar to the wrong route that MH370 is thought to have taken. The way that the communication was manipulated as the plane travelled between airspaces (so that the plane could go completely unnoticed for a few minutes) can apparently only have been done deliberately by someone who knew exactly what they were doing ie. the pilot. And it is thought that he also changed the air pressure so that everyone was unconcious before he crashed the plane at high speed into a vast ocean.

It has pretty much been 'solved' now I think. The flight simulator footage being the 'smoking gun'.

Jetatyeovilaerodrome · 24/01/2021 09:45

Yes, I lost a whole morning once reading about the two girls in Panama. Awful for their families Sad

It is thought that they got lost and then one got injured down a ravine and the weird photos were them trying to photograph a mockup of where they were (with the sticks etc) or just flashing the camera towards the sky in the hope that someone would see it. But then there are some unexplained things as well I think, I can't quite remember now?

Poor girls.

That’s scary. I wonder if the passengers knew something was wrong before they lost consciousness? Did he lock the other pilot out the cockpit?

The Pusher (nicknamed by locals in Manchester) but police deny there is a serial killer where a lot of young men in Manchester end up in the canal.
It's interesting because of the denial of a actual killer despite the high amount of deaths in the canal in the area

Has anyone wondered about the Falconio/Joanne Lees trial? I really do wonder what happened to him and what actually happened.

I wonder why people think she had something to do with it.
Did she not act the way you are supposed to.

Shes not familiar with the area, how would she be able to get rid of the body.

I think they where attacked by Murdoch, she managed to escape. He brought Peters body somewhere else and dumped it.He knew that place like the back of his hands.

Having watched that programme recently there were a lot of unanswered questions on her behalf.
I found it uncomfortable the way his brother was ‘all over’ her.
I’d love to know what his family think.
I hope the truth comes out and he is found one day for the family.

Covidcorvid · 24/01/2021 12:55

Yes, I agree that with the Falconio place they got the right person. I’d be interested to know where he hid the body and obviously his family would like the closure I’m sure.

The recent documentary raised a lot of questions.

The truck driver who saw 2 men on the highway with another man described as a 'jelly man' moments before JL stopped his truck. Part of his statement was removed and not used in the court case.

She lied at the preliminary hearing about her affair with another man then had to come clean.

There was a lot of evidence dismissed by the Northern Territory policy and courts. In fact they took the homemade handcuffs to Murdoch whilst he was in prison which could have sabotaged the DNA results.

The DNA testing they used is not advisable due to its low level of accuracy.

I've followed groups which are asking the same questions about the Falconio case and there are witnesses who say that Peter was seen in other parts of Aus in the weeks after his disappearance and since too. These leads weren't followed up.

There's also questions raised about PF being involved in drug trafficking. There was a sizeable amount of ecstasy pills found in the side of the van. PF had booked a ticket to fly out of Aus to a nearby country the day he went missing whilst JL had booked to fly back to Brisbane.

Foreign travellers who used a van to sight see Aus were often used to move drugs around the country as they weren't as suspicious.

I believe it was a drug run that went wrong. JL has questions to answer but so do the police involved. I believe the Northern Territory police are some of the most corrupt in Australia. A commissioner who was involved in the Falconio case was recently suspended for corruption. She also is the same officer who took the handcuffs Murdoch in prison.

The reason the police don’t believe there is a serial killer is because there’s no evidence of one. Most of those men probably fell in the canals when drunk. I’m sure I read somewhere that most towns and cities with extensive canal and river networks have a high number of deaths from drowning in them. Manchester is just unfortunate that a lot of its bars and clubs are near the canals and there are no fences to stop people falling in.

Gosh, there’s so many names on there I’ve never even heard of.
Definitely would like to see ALL of Jimmy Savile’s crimes unearthed.
I think what’ve seen is the tip of the ice berg.
What really happened at Hautes en la Garonne children’s home in a jersey.linked to savile and ted Heath

Elm House guest house in London . Linked to many famous names of the day. Bachelor boy was alleged to have visited
Bryn Estyn children’s home in n. Wales..again linked to savile

If anyone likes disappearing down a rabbit hole, it’s all on Jimmy Savile outed as a pedo on david Icke old forum

Haute de la Garenne children's home case and Saville are definitely tip of the iceberg IMO.

I'm not sure how something that was identified as bone fragments with collagen can then be identified as a coconut shell.

It was a travesty was that case, and I believe the detective who was initially in charge of the case and then removed, said as much.

Yes the Elm Guest house too. Eight year old Vishal Mehtrotra disappeared near here on the way back from watching the royal wedding procession in 1981 with his family. His dad who was a magistrate, was told that the guest house held the answers to his disappearance. The father took this information to the police and nothing was done with it.

So so heart wrenching for his family.

I read a comment on Reddit where someone suggested that some of those deaths could be attributed to the recently convicted rapist Reynhard Sinaga, who drugged his victims. The men were drugged and it is a chilling possibility some of them may have fell into the water.
