McDonalds drive thru - totally not an essential journey......

But

My DC love McDonalds and haven't had it in months. And love Katsu Curry. And want to try these new katsu nuggets.

Our closet McDonalds is 25 minutes away. So we can't get delivery and one of us picking it up means it's cold and crap by the time we're gone.

DC not had McDonalds since at least October. I so want to say "yes sure, let's do it tomorrow" as they've been amazing all week considering the new lockdown - but driving the whole family in the car for just a McDonalds seems like it's not much of an essential journey.

Expecting a mix of MN "don't be so stupid, McDonalds is disgusting, stay home and et lentils you dickhead" and a mix of "don't be so stupid of course you can drive to McDonalds you dickhead"

So interested to see which I get more of. Grin

@TheGreatWave

The thought of sitting in the queue for the drive through stops any desire to go.
This was also a factor into my "won't do it" decision.

Because let's say 25 minutes to get there.

Then another 20 minute queue to order and get food.

There's a good chance someone will need a wee in that time. And I am not going near a public loo at the moment.

Thankfully DC haven't mentioned it today or yesterday. But I will be honest and say it's too far to go safely. We saw the new advert during The Masked Singer last night so they're aware of the rules.

Katsu and crappy nuggets added to next click and collect. Smile If only I could get Big Mac sauce too!

I’m eating a Mcdonalds breakfast right now and it’s delicious.
