I did the same. I was only on the car for about 10 minutes and just couldn't stand the triteness!

To be fair to her she did kids TV then went to America for ages so she’s not used to a British Adult audience

I was thinking the other day that the shittest thing about xmas is the crap radio presenters they get on to cover for the regulars. Both R1 and R2 have had some super shit presenters over the past 2 weeks.

She sounds nice and super friendly but her yelling and squealing is really stressful to listen to.

I tuned in to Virgin just now. Graham is on Saturday and Sunday mornings from next weekend. Yay.

She was awful wasn't she. I like a bit of R2 on a Saturday morning as I'm beetling about, but she was absolutely dire, I was cringing when she was trying to be funny when PK was on.

I’m not too fussed as I’m not a fan of his, but Cat Deeley is awful!

I though Cat was great on sm:tv (I was reminded of this by the recent programme on it)

However, she doesn't seem to have updated her presenting style in any way.

I’m following graham to virgin, I’m excited he’s having 2 shows a weekend now. I imagine they must have offered him a pretty fantastic deal and they are definitely getting their money’s worth. His name seems to be a big pull to celebrities and he seems to get on well with everyone.

Agree she was dreadful, as was the traffic report guy covering for Jeremy Vine that someone else has mentioned. I caught a bit of Helen Skelton too, she was unlistenable.

I usually love Liza Tarbuck but there was a horrendous pre-recorded show where “celebs” talked about music that they loved as kids etc. It was SO naff, Liza must have been cringing.

Just to say that Cat is just a stand in before Claudia Winkleman takes over the show. I love/d Graham but happy to give Claudia a go (unless she bangs on too much about Strictly as that definitely won't be floating my boat!)
