Ironing - me
Listening to Rocky Horror soundtrack and making cookies - DDs
Tidying man cave and studio - DH
We’ll all be playing one of the games we got for Christmas later and watching a film - Hidden Figures vs Antman (Antman currently winning 3/1)

42isthemeaning · 29/12/2020 15:20

Dc on iPad / gaming pc, cleaned house, did washing, made and ate lunch, cleaned school shoes, went out for walk, collected something from Sainsbury's. Later on will make curry, then watch tv with dc and play games.

SandrasAnnoyingFriend · 29/12/2020 15:23

I've told DS11 he can have a pyjama day so he's basically playing x box all day.
I got up far too late but I've had a shower and cleaned the kitchen.
Going to pop to Lidl shortly, make sausage chips and beans for dinner (fancy something simple/nursery food)
The find a film to all watch after dinner.

What the hell else is there to do? 😂

Bluewavescrashing · 29/12/2020 15:30

Feeling very pleased with myself because the trainers and clothing I ordered from Sports Direct all fits DD and she loves it all. She's impossibly fussy about clothes, has a sensory issue and refuses to wear most things. She really needed new stuff and I'm so relieved not to have to return it especially as stores are closed.

kitschplease · 29/12/2020 16:18

Getting the house ready for viewings and browsing rightmove. It's pretty boring, but good for my bank balance.

WalkingMeAway · 29/12/2020 16:21

I’ve cleaned the bathroom and en suite. Changed all the bedding. Been for a walk with my Mum. Just watching Cars with the littlest one on the sofa with tea and shortbread.
Will watch a film with remaining cheese once kids in bed.

namechange34 · 29/12/2020 16:23

Went for a walk and fed the ducks. DCs currently playing Just Dance on the switch. Bit of playing with the Christmas toys/colouring/drawing. Meant to play a family game of scrabble when DH finishes work. Made some soup.

namechangefail2020 · 29/12/2020 16:27

Trying my best to have a day off the booze. Every day feels like the Weeknd so it's felt acceptable but my liver needs a break.

Been feeding the ducks, throwing stones in the river, jumping in puddles, same crap different day! Help I'm boooooored!! (Ps I do have children by the way, this wasn't all on my own!)

cozycat1 · 29/12/2020 16:34

Local shops, home for lunch, out with sledge and youngest for a few hours, now watching ANOTHER Harry film while I surf net. Board (or bored??) games later.trying not to open a bottle of cava yet, thinking 5Pm is justifiable.
Aboslutely dreading my return to home working and blended learning in NY. Am trying to make the most of relaxing.

SilenceOfThePrams · 29/12/2020 16:51

Should be on holiday. Decided to put new holiday clothes on anyway. Gave toddler a bleach bath (eczema) and splashed bleach all over new clothes. Painted bleach marks with new fabric pens in decent approximation of original colour then realised they are glittery so I now have glittery speckles across my bust.

Older child too anxious to go out so did some gardening with the toddler. Mainly picking up cat poo (me) and stomping on bulbs (toddler).
Remote controlled car race with older child.

Bangers and mash with onion gravy for lunch.

Too much screen time, a spot of Lego, a little bit of maths.

And an egg delivery I’d forgotten to cancel, so I now have 45 eggs between the three of us. Predicting scrambled eggs for tea. Every night for quite a long time.

Tbh not much different to life in t2 except that conversations with other people now take place with us in the front garden and them in the street, rather than both of us in the garden.

AlexandraPeppernose · 29/12/2020 17:18

Walked up town with 11y dd, went to the bank to pay kids cash presents in their accounts, will make dinner then drink and eat cheese... again.
Haven't seen the teens. They will no doubt make an appearance at 10pm, start making shitloads of noise, go downstairs to make noodles at 3am then sleep all day tomorrow... Again

SelfIcellation · 29/12/2020 17:20

This morning I went to the supermarket to buy bread and breakfast cereal.

This afternoon I watched a film on Netflix.

I'm on nights from tonight so am in bed not sleeping at the moment, as is the usual.

ragged · 29/12/2020 17:33

Breakfast... Bit of house tidying. Laundry.

Walked to town to do errands, bought DS chips, Post office, bank deposit.

Went for a run, bath

Put movie on for DS

Paid my tax bill, I hate self-assessment.

Thought about answering a work email (work is closed until 4 Jan).

Sold something on Ebay, better package it in a moment.

Spent Ages Getting listings ready for clothing stuff DS had (lots of measurements, description to write) I still need to take pics before can list on Ebay.

Pondering some Bailey's or wine..

Too much MN!

wendz86 · 29/12/2020 18:14

We went to a country park for a walk and got a takeaway hot chocolate. Lots of people there meeting with others although guess better it's outside...
This afternoon just been watching films and playing roblox with dd1.

FancySomeChips · 29/12/2020 18:16

Slept in till 1.00.

Tidied the kitchen.

Took dog to the vet.

Watched Les Mis.

Thought about beginning yoga.

Ate some crisps.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 29/12/2020 18:21

I haven't had a daytime nap in years, but today after a 2 hour walk in the bracing air and a late lunch of fondue and crusty bread, I sat down to read and passed out for an hour Blush

Sorka · 29/12/2020 18:23

Slept stupidly late, ate the remaining After Eights, watched TV, went for a walk (which I didn’t manage yesterday, so well done me for leaving the house).

I have just ordered a pizza and am back to watching TV.

Tomorrow’s going to be a big day: a trip to the supermarket and a walk. Exciting times.

WunWun · 29/12/2020 18:24

I've been at work. DDhas gone to her dad's because he's on holiday.

BatleyTownswomensGuild · 29/12/2020 18:26

Dog walk, board games, playpark, film etc. Same as we've done pretty much every day of the holidays tbh. Fortunately my DS is a creature of habit so seems fine with this..,

squashyhat · 29/12/2020 18:27

Sainsbo's food shop first thing, then dug a load of gravel up from the front garden and relocated it to a builder's bag (remodelling project). Watched Prom on Netflix, played some Sporcle quizzes and ordered some logs. DH is cooking dinner and we are doing a zoom quiz at 7 with friends, followed by watching the Masterchef Professionals Christmas special. Today is quite busy Grin

cyclingmad · 29/12/2020 18:27

Partied all day to a stream of DJs playing for a charity event

HandlebarLadyTash · 29/12/2020 18:29

Eaten, Played Mario, eaten , pottered in garden (kids not interested) watched Jurassic park, Skype with family, more tv, more food. Heroically avoided alcohol for the first time in a week - win

catsjammies · 29/12/2020 18:31

Doing a mega cleanup of cupboards and reorganisation of toys, sorting the art cupboard. Sorted through all the old out-grown clothes. Going to finish painting the stairs this evening.

Basically just trying to blast through the jobs to make the flat as organised as possible for what I'm predicting is going to be an awful few months of having the kids at home full time again.

Baycob · 29/12/2020 18:59

Sledging, games consoles, horse riding ( my own), car MOT, cooking and TV!
