Is there anyone that’s HASN'T got matching family pjs?

I think it’s cute just wondering if there’s anyone left out there that doesn’t lol.

No, never have, never will.

Tinyhumansurvivalist · 07/12/2020 19:52

We haven't. I tried last year but do through a fit and refused to wear them every again

CatholicKidston · 07/12/2020 19:55

We don't. They'd never all be clean at the same time so no point Blush

It’s totally cringeworthy. It’s like the mum and daughter matching dresses. Blurgh

BringBiscuits · 07/12/2020 19:55

Nope. Not us. Not my kinda thing but each to their own.

ClearingSpaceOnTheTrophyShelf · 07/12/2020 19:56

No.

Holothane · 07/12/2020 19:56

No I have trouble finding nice ones in my size unless from British shops sizing is way off. Peacocks has gone luckily I can shop tu. ect,

mbosnz · 07/12/2020 19:56

LOL, we haven't. I reckon I'd find my eyes poked with red hot pokers if I tried with two teenaged girls - although I've been tempted to present them with them just to see the reactions, lol.

I get everyone a pair of pj's that they'll like, instead.

HarryHarryHarry · 07/12/2020 19:57

I don’t. It’s a bit cheesy, isn’t it?

mnahmnah · 07/12/2020 19:57

We don’t. I really hate the pressure to join in with all these new-fangled Christmas ‘traditions’ and the implication that you’re a crap parent for not spreading the magic. We have a lovely Christmas without buying pyjamas, bedding, doing the bloody elf etc

NovemberR · 07/12/2020 19:57

I had no idea this was a thing! There's no way my cool teen would dress up like their ancient and embarrassing mother and father. Just no way! Why would you?

Also can't see why I'd want to wear the same pjs as DH Confused

Nonamesavail · 07/12/2020 19:57

We don't.

Splann · 07/12/2020 19:58

How do you know that people have matching pyjamas? I have no idea what my friends clothe themselves and their family in for bed. Our pyjamas certainly don’t match. But I’m not a fan of Paw Patrol or men’s M&S pyjamas.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 07/12/2020 19:58

We don't. It's such a waste as they only last 1 year. If there was a company which guaranteed to make the exact same pattern for the next 25 year's I'd be in - otherwise dh and I would need new every year to match the growing dc.

MarshaBradyo · 07/12/2020 19:58

No we have never done this.

ZeldaPrincessOfHyrule · 07/12/2020 19:58

Us! DH would never agree to it, kids would probably look at me like Hmm and I'd rather not match everyone like a twee Christmas card scene anyway. SIL has recently forced my DB into it though. It's hilarious.

Wobbitcatcher · 07/12/2020 19:59

I don’t at the moment but I will when they arrive ... except not my husband as I wasn’t paying £25 for him to refuse to wear them. I have a 2 year old and a baby so they won’t refuse

GoldenOmber · 07/12/2020 19:59

No. I am generally a big fan of Christmas, I'll accept cheap tinsel and Wham! and everything, but matching Christmas pyjamas and 'fun' Christmas jumpers turn me into Ebenezer Scrooge.

HeeeeyDuggee · 07/12/2020 20:00

Nope.
I like to annoy my eldest and husband by threatening to buy them but not our thing. I do love a good family theme Christmas jumper tho

Crinkle77 · 07/12/2020 20:00

Eurgh no it's one of those awful trends that started in the last few years along with elf on the shelf and Xmas eve boxes.

My dh would never agree to it either! Thank god!
SatsumaInMyStocking001 · 07/12/2020 20:00

I want to but my DP doesn't wear PJs Xmas Wink

GoldenOmber · 07/12/2020 20:00

And I'd send the sodding Elf on a Shelf to the workhouse as well.

VicMackey · 07/12/2020 20:00

No. My cat hates clothing

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 07/12/2020 20:01

No way.
