Would you know what the answer was if I asked you what a gonk is?!

My dc have just fallen about laughing, and assured me they've never heard of these. Maybe it's an age think. Anyone know what I mean?

Yes and they are so hideous and i’m sick of seeing them as Christmas decorations. I’m 31.

The troll things, but it's not a word I'd use because when I was at school it was used as an insult to call people ugly and stupid. I don't know if that's accepted use or was just that school, then.

I'll add I'm mid 30s and didn't know until a couple of weeks ago when my colleague said she had got her Christmas gonks out.

Are they really everywhere again? I haven't seen any and I'd forgotten all about them until they randomly popped into my head last night!

I’ve just got a 1960’s gonk from eBay for my Teenage DS for Xmas. Whenever he goes anywhere I always ask him if he has his support gonk and pencil with the retractable lead with him . 😂 He will be delighted to have one for his A levels next year !
