One packet of Angel Delight is four servings?!

I’m flabbergasted. Just treating myself to some Banana Angel Delight as you do and noticed when made up it’s meant to serve four people! Unless it means four kids , cos I appreciate it’s probably not aimed at my age group, but all the same.. Is that right or am I just greedy?

We used to have them as children so between 3

But as an adult I have one packet of butterscotch into 2 portions with sliced banana

I personally found a whole packet was an entire serving!

How many servings did you think it makes, out of interest?

We always had it on Sundays when I was a child, until I just couldn’t bear it any more as it’s so foul (sorry!). One packet served 4 of us.

It is intended to serve 2 adults and 2 DC - one pack for one (standardised) family

I think this sort of thing might be a factor in the difference between typical weight of the population between the 1970s (when it was new and was a whole family pudding) and now

I personally found a whole packet ought to.go in the bin. Revolting stuff. And banana flavour would take the revoltingness to even more life-threatening levels.

Anyway I shall be having half now and half tomorrow and bugger the packet instructions!

One pack does me, my 5yo and my 2yo. If we had it when DH was home as well then it would be tiny portions.

I use one sachet between three children, using those Gu glass pots, just right! I add chopped banana if feeling extravagant.

Well I always put a few slices of banana in the bottom and then, yes, 1 packet = pudding for 2 adults and 2 children.

Doesn't it?! I can't believe DS2 didn't buy it.

I thought this before - I always have one pack just for me, fits in a standard bowl perfectly so I am not sure how I’d ever share it between 4!
