What will Boris,s new rules be about Xmas ?

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 21/11/2020 18:29

That you must come to Chequers for Christmas to stop the NHS & Amazon from being overwhelmed.
You must have your flu jab whilst waiting for your Covid jab but if you can't get the flu jab then you must have the contraceptive jab instead.
Please stay at home whilst you go looking for your turkey & do not go outside unless it's to the pub.
I reiterate please do not go outside until you have been to Chequers for Christmas.

Are we all going to have Complex PSTD in years to come?

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 21/11/2020 19:57

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 22/11/2020 09:24

It's only November! Hearing only permitted from 31st December at 23.55 to 1st January at 00.05.

(Also... Do you know my husband's workplace?)

Shall I get dressed?

Scarby9 · 22/11/2020 10:59

Only if you put on full fancy dress - I recommend a costume inspired by the French court of Louis Quinze for a lockdown Sunday.

Which is your favourite leaf?

Trauchled · 22/11/2020 11:31

A tea leaf.
Should I start my Christmas shopping now

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 22/11/2020 11:33

I hope you mean for Christmas 22?

Why is housework so dull?

bearlyactive · 22/11/2020 12:59

Because your Lego house isn't colourful enough.

Why is housework called "housework" and not "interminably dull set of things you have to do to NOT live in a pigsty"?

OP posts:
TracyBeakerSoYeah · 22/11/2020 14:18

Because 'Housework' is snappier & far more appealing than 'PigStyWork'

Where can I get a DH replacement?

Why would I want a pile of packing boxes in the house in November when we aren't moving until February at the earliest and currently trying to get things organized for Christmas?

Ellmau · 22/11/2020 15:01

Your DH thought you could use the boxes for Christmas presents first.

What musical instrument is best to start lessons on?

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 22/11/2020 16:21

What should I cook for Xmas dinner?

AnotherAardvark · 22/11/2020 16:29

A bouncy castle, I should imagine.

Why do I feel like it’s midnight the instant the sun sets at 5 pm?

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 22/11/2020 16:47

I wouldn't recommend cooking a bouncy castle as it would be a bit tough unless you put it in a slow cooker.
How about tripe & onions instead for Xmas dinner?

The reason it feels like midnight as soon as the sun sets at 5pm is because you have forgotten that you actually live in Cambodia.

Apart from Brexit, Covid & Donald Trump shenanigans predict something that might happen next year?

Ellmau · 22/11/2020 17:01
