Rural area, mum nowhere to be seen, very cold and shivering so have bought them in to warm up.

Now what?!

Love them and let them own you.

Sexnotgender · 05/11/2020 11:01

Definitely put food down for mum. Hopefully she’ll appear soon.

starfishmummy · 05/11/2020 11:01

was I the only one who thought of this??

SnakesandKnives · 05/11/2020 11:02

@Missmonkeypenny
I would definitely get some kitten milk and some food to put out for mum if she’s still alive/around (you know, just in case!)

If they don’t/can’t lap yet you might have to repurpose a baby bottle Grin

Sooooo jealous!

Marchmarch · 05/11/2020 11:03

Can you weigh them? That often gives a good indication of their age. They’re clearly not newborn. Keep them warmer than you think they need, IUSWIM, a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel and lots of blankets, and offer special kitten milk and water until you get the proper stuff. Cats Protection or RSPCA can help with worming and vaccines if you’re not in a position to sort that yourself. Also check for fleas.

Cats choose their owners. You just had twins! Congratulations!

Dagnabit · 05/11/2020 11:04

Aw cute! This is much better than most of the threads on here this morning Grin

MaverickDanger · 05/11/2020 11:04

We had similar and they look like ours - they were 3 weeks when we found them.

YY to kitten milk & a syringe or bottle with teat.

Dagnabit · 05/11/2020 11:04

@Marchmarch Triplets, apparently!

Originalyellowbelly · 05/11/2020 11:05

I want a shed now! Even though I have 4 cats already and DH wont let me have more I know he couldn't resist if kittens appeared in my non existent shed.

BoreOfWhabylon · 05/11/2020 11:08

I think @TheCatNeuterer works with CPS.

I found one about that size many years ago. He had little needle teeth and was fine on wet food. Grew to be nearly 10 kilos.

amusedbush · 05/11/2020 11:08

Ahh, so cute! Congratulations on your three new cats Grin

As an aside, whatever happened to the poster who found the baby mouse?

HollyandIvyandallthingsYule · 05/11/2020 11:11

Actually it’s triplets! Squeee!!

Oh I want a puppy (sorry to say that on a kitten thread but the heart wants what it wants!).

If anyone wants to read another lovely heartwarming thread to counteract the gloom and doom here’s something you’ll love:

You can buy kitten milk at Pets at Home OP. They look about 4-5 weeks - eyes open and very alert. Bless them. They look healthy also so Im not sure I would take them too far from where their mother is as she may be out hunting Sad

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 05/11/2020 11:15

starfishmummy Nope! 😂

c24680 · 05/11/2020 11:16

I would put some food down in the shed in case the mum comes back, I'm sure she won't be far from them, she's properly gone to find food for herself.

Missmonkeypenny · 05/11/2020 11:16

I am just sourcing some milk and some bottles in case they can't lap from a saucer! They really are very lovely if not slightly feral!

Right, that’s it, I want one (three) of my own! I’m off down to the shed.......wish me luck people....

Mummyoflittledragon · 05/11/2020 11:17

How sweet. 😻😻

Stinkerbells · 05/11/2020 11:18

Aww little beauties, congratulations on your fur-babies! Mum must be looking after them, like others have said keep and eye out for Mum and maybe try and bring her in if you can.

loobyloo1234 · 05/11/2020 11:18

So cute OP.

Is someone going to keep an eye out in case Mum comes back? She'll still be full of milk at this stage so it'd pretty heartbreaking if she can't find her babies when she returns

ladymalfoy45 · 05/11/2020 11:19

If we name them Missmonkeypenny will have to keep them.....

Hoppinggreen · 05/11/2020 11:21
LabradorGalore · 05/11/2020 11:24

omg they are gorgeous!! Sounds like you're doing all the right things for mum and babies. Good luck with them and enjoy the tiny kitten cuddles!

Lolalovesmarmite · 05/11/2020 11:25

We’ve had very young feral kittens before. The fact that you’re not getting your hand shredded is hugely positive.

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 05/11/2020 11:28

Oh wow, of you happen to be local to me I'm sure I can convince dh that we need to support charity and take on in. Temporarily obviously until the kitten melts his heart and becomes a permanent feature.

Not sure what the resident cat would think but he'd come around!
