Rural area, mum nowhere to be seen, very cold and shivering so have bought them in to warm up.

Now what?!

So I found something in my shed this morning...

They've really come out of their shells today and are starting to play which is lovely to see.

I wonder how long they were on their own for after their mum went off (presumably in search of food). You've got to think they were quite stressed by the time you found them. Lovely that they're unstressed enough now to play. Good job, OP.

This thread is what the internet was made for 💓🐾

My dog was all excited this morning, sniffing around our shed, and the first thing I thought was 'kittens!' but no joy :( Lovely to see how well these little guys are doing though!

Lovely thread & lovely kittens. Well done OP.

Mamanyt · 12/11/2020 22:57

I look forward to this thread every day. Does my heart good to see these babies growing and thriving.

RuthTopp · 14/11/2020 14:50

How are your fluff balls doing ?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 14/11/2020 19:06

Awww spiderlight , my DS ( 20 yo and should know better) went to put some food in the freezer in our shed . He calls "Mum come 'ere" .

I am thinking "ooooooh is this it ? Have I been gifted with kittens" ?

Nope . He couldn't get the freezer door to close

Hmm

Actually finding ferals in the shed would cause all manners of issues with my Resident Moggies so dodgy freezer door was a relief Grin

They are beautiful

Thankful that good people exist in our world ❤️❤️

Iamacatslave · 16/11/2020 16:12

How are the kittens?

spiderlight · 20/11/2020 10:18

How are they doing? Hope they're OK.

OhMsBeliever · 22/11/2020 19:44

Where are you OP.

I had a dream last night that I found kittens. I woke up very disappointed that is was only a dream and there were none. Sad They were gorgeous as well. I feel cheated!

Missmonkeypenny · 22/11/2020 21:36

Hello all! Sorry, I lost my own thread and didn't know how to find it but I am here and back and the kittens are doing great. Hopefully these photos upload for you!

They've put on weight amazingly, all around 600g now from tiny, scrawny things and they are so friendly it's unbelievable Smile Weaning is going very slowly as they haven't been at all interested but they had some chicken breast mixed with milk today which they all ate - baby steps! They're all using the litter tray consistently which is great too, although they also like to roll around in it playing Blush

I know of someone in Hampshire looking got a cat or kitten - the rescues don’t seem to have any. Drop me a pm! Smile

Shame mum was never found but you are doing a grand job. Bet you won’t want to rehome them afterwards but if you do try and get them rehomed together.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 22/11/2020 22:55

I am so pleased to see this thread pop back up! ❤️❤️❤️

We have two of them going to a family friend and the other one ( to all of your surprise im sure ) will be staying with us! Ddog has taken a liking to one of them, as has DDverynearly6. It's her birthday on Thursday and I've wrapped up a very small collar for her to open, she will be over the moon. There were tears this week over them all leaving her!

And yes, sadly no mum update at all. I kept an eye out daily for a good week and a bit but nothing at all. I havent seen any cats of any kind along our road and certainly none in the garden or the fields next to us.

Read the entire thread with a little trickle down my face and a lovely warm glow. You've done an amazing job MissMP. Fellow Hampshire dweller here, sadly no kittens in my shed, just a pile of rusty tools and a lawnmower ;-)
