Rural area, mum nowhere to be seen, very cold and shivering so have bought them in to warm up.

Now what?!

We won't be rehoming them for a while but will also only be rehoming to people we personally know so we can be completely sure that they're going to be fussed over and spoilt for life

Hahaha Grin You might think you are going to be rehoming them but I wouldn't be surprised if they spend their lives being fussed over and spoilt by you. I speak from experience...

So tiny and so cute!

IEat · 08/11/2020 14:44

You can get kitten milk from supermarkets. How cute are they.

Hovverry · 08/11/2020 19:09

Supermarket cat milk says to limit it, it’s a treat not suitable for rearing kittens. Vets have milk substitute for motherless kittens.
My cat lost her mum at 4 weeks and was never given milk. When I offered Whiskas cat milk later on she wouldn’t touch it.

amusedtodeath1 · 08/11/2020 22:02

Adorable little mites, thank you for being an awesome surrogate Mummy and for sharing. Proper cheered me up Grin

Mamanyt · 09/11/2020 02:25

If they are eating well (and I can see that they are) and poo own their own, you're doing everything right! GOOD JOB!

Weenurse · 09/11/2020 06:07

They are beautiful

spiderlight · 09/11/2020 09:54

Look how perky that one is!! Adorable. They seem to be doing brilliantly :)

SeasonallySnowyPeasant · 09/11/2020 10:00

I've told DH that I want a pair of kittens (so they annoy each other instead of me!). He'd be up for it but I'm quite severely allergic to fur and feathers, including a few hospital visits after exposure, so it's never going to happen Sad

Papergirl1968 · 09/11/2020 11:49

Might you be ok with sphinxes, Seasonally?

You might see how you tolerate Russian Blues. They are gorgeous cats, and produce less Fel d 1 than most other breeds. Fel d 1 is the secretoglobin protein that MOST people are actually allergic to. You might be able to live with an RB with over-the-counter allergy medication. There are several other breeds that are low Fel d 1 producers. Feel free to PM me if you would like a list
SeasonallySnowyPeasant · 09/11/2020 13:42

I've been around a Cornish Blue and was allergic to that so have sadly accepted that I'm just not going to have cats. I do check now and then to see if anyone's bred a new type of super-hypoallergenic cat though!

Missmonkeypenny · 09/11/2020 20:46

Evening update!

They seem to be mastering the solo poop so time to introduce a litter tray i think. They've really come out of their shells today and are starting to play which is lovely to see.
