What would you like for Christmas?

I know, I know but for various reasons I'm having to buy Christmas presents sooner rather than later. As part of this, I need to work out what I want for Christmas - except I'm a bit stumped. Normally, I'd ask for vouchers for DH and I to spend time doing things together for thanks to the pandemic this is somewhat out.

So, in the hopes of gaining inspiration, what would you like for Christmas?

Diamond stud earrings .
Perfume. Books.
I'll get the perfume and books but not the diamond earrings!

MinnieAnonyMouse · 04/10/2020 12:53

Prettybluepigeons I agree about the earrings! I was looking at the most stunning ring recently... a bargain at £10,000...

I'll be buying myself a gift of a bottle of Armani My Way eau de parfum.

No one ever believes me when I say I want soap, lots and lots of bars of beautiful, quality, scented soap. I get dull books and novelty milk jugs and hand cream and in a dark secret corner of my soul I yell "Jerks! This could have been soap!"

Serena1977 · 04/10/2020 13:01

Camera
Pyjamas
Socks
Bath stuff

Ellapaella · 04/10/2020 13:03

Perfume, some luxurious bath oil and some nice good quality pyjamas. And a book to read on Boxing Day while lounging around in my new PJ's all day.

whatsoccuringnow · 04/10/2020 13:06

A dryrobe
A new handbag
Clarins skincare
New pyjamas

AnneLovesGilbert · 04/10/2020 13:09

I love soap too. Also lovely rich hand cream. Earrings. New pjs with pockets. Why do they rarely come with pockets? Slippers. Books. Some nice cheese. Fancy ground coffee. Linen - my one true vice. Tea towels.

GreatBigBeautifulTommorow · 04/10/2020 13:10

Pyjamas
Snow fairy by the lorry load
Some ridiculously expensive ugg slippers
Hotel chocolate mint liqueur
Covid to disappear Wink

amusedtodeath1 · 04/10/2020 13:12

White Company bath stuff
Bomb Cosmetics bath bombs
New PJs
A blanket hoodie (oodie)
Luxury Chocolate

Normally I'd have perfume too but I have too many ATM.

Tana433 · 04/10/2020 13:16

A massage recliner armchair to watch my boxsets in comfort. Hygge is real guys!

Juanmorebeer · 04/10/2020 13:20

I'd like Elemis face stuff. Some new doc martens and for my husband to clear out the garage

Trauchled · 04/10/2020 13:23

The main thing I want for Christmas is to be able to spend it with my family. As things stand just now(Scotland) we can't have anyone out with our household inside our house.I don't care if I get any presents ,I just want to spend Christmas with my family like we usually do.

AnneLovesGilbert · 04/10/2020 13:25

Thinking about having to post a lot of gifts this year has made me think differently about what to buy other people. There may be lots of people getting socks and books Grin

FizzyPink · 04/10/2020 13:26

Rituals Oudh candles
Champagne
Bed socks for working from home
Really really lovely quality loungewear
Pear earrings

SaltyAndFresh · 04/10/2020 13:26

I want an Oodie and some walking boots.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/10/2020 13:39

Yes to lovely soap

Also:
a big beautiful vase
some nice, chunky wine glasses
a lovely fat cookery book
some stuff from local independent shops - eg a ceramic plant pot, deli stuff

SquirrelFan · 04/10/2020 13:48

From friends :
Pyjamas
Pink champagne
Antique glasses to drink it out of
Voucher for local bookstore
Warm socks - not for bed, not long, but just lovely socks that are warm at the toes
Unusual food that I wouldn't buy because it would be a waste if I only used it for one recipe - think pomegranate molasses or preserved lemons
From DH: new wardrobes for our bedroom
I'll keep thinking, there's loads I want!

ohdearmymistake · 04/10/2020 14:51

Trauchled

Same, all I really want is for all my family to be here, I don't care about presents.

optimisticpessimist01 · 04/10/2020 15:03

The Babyliss heated rolling hair brush
A pair of slippers
A dressing gown
I also wouldn't mind something thoughtful from DP such as a nice little ring or necklace.

HelpMeh · 04/10/2020 15:16

This year is the first year I actually have things I want. Off the top of my head I would happily accept:

New wireless ear buds
Bone conducting headphones
A large box of Highland Chocolatier chocolates
Decent running shoes
Running socks (boring but $$$)
A fitness watch - perhaps Polar or Garmin
Lush Karma perfume (large bottle of)

HelpMeh · 04/10/2020 15:23

@SquirrelFan pomegranate molasses are never wasted! I live in the Middle East and use them on every salad I make. So delicious. Also good in place of balsamic when caramelising onions or cooking down cabbage. Get thee molasses!

SahmedOut · 04/10/2020 15:27

Fitness tracker
Merino mid-layer

I would love DH to organise the Dc to get me something. I was the only person last year without a gift, DD noticed and was really upset but I don't think she remembers now.

HildegardVonBingen · 04/10/2020 15:32

as a rule, I love a "better" version of everyday things - decent wine, good quality chocolate, lovely bath products, beautiful soaps, cashmere socks. Something I know I'll use but that feels just a teeny bit too decadent to buy myself.

motorcyclenumptiness · 04/10/2020 15:33

If you're reading this santa tia: cheap laptop, falke running socks, l'occitane almond shower oil, nomo salted caramel bars
