I can't sleep and was just wondering why other people would be awake at this hour

For me, it's morning sickness again (I wouldn't change it for the world but omg < not envy).

Had a (much delayed so more complex) filling yesterday. Lots of anxiety meds, hunger, plus a bruised jaw mean everything is out of sync.

I can't sleep because am stressed about work to deliver that isn't going well this week. Can't relax.

Me too @OnlyFoolsnMothers - I can't remember what a normal night's sleep is!

I’ve come back up to bed, feeling a bit tired but soooo aware of the alarm going off in two hours :((

Trufflepuffpuff hell isnt it- everything hurts too- you think Mother Nature would adapt to let you rest properly before the newborn, up all night phase

Thank you, I feel it though. Everybody is going through tough times right now and they do a good job.

@OnlyFoolsnMothers yes!! My side keeps going numb from not being able to lie on my back, and I'm up for hours worrying about not getting enough sleep before the baby gets here. Glad it's not just me though...

To be fair, I'm actually enjoying myself more than before lockdown as I really appreciate my job, which I Iiked before but defo took for granted a little. I've finally lost the lbs I needed to from my holiday last Oct, which I'd not likely have done in all honesty had I been in the pub swilling beer over the summer.

Looking forward to xmas and some mulled cider by a log fire, and I'll be ready for summer 2021 where I can once again wear some of my old shirts without looking like a shrinkwrapped sausage.

Good luck with the sleep @Trufflepuffpuff and @OnlyFoolsnMothers! I was there for weeka- up every day in the early hours because sleeping on my side hurt my hip. Hope you can get some rest in the day time to make up for it.

I'm still pregnant but slept better last night and my toddler is still asleep at 6.20. There must be something in the water

DS had just -JUST- gone to sleep and I was gratefully dropping off alongside his cot when the midwife came in to do his obs and he woke screaming. Gaaaah!

Good luck everyone trying to get to sleep and especially the pregnant women- been there, done that and sending you empathy.

I used to have to do those obs and hated doing it to the mums and babies (I was a nursery nurse on a neonatal ward). Congratulations on the birth of your son . My 5.5 month old fosterling had his third lot of vaccines yesterday so has had a rough day and night but fingers crossed, he is finally asleep (all hail the miracle that is Calpol).

DP goes in on 26th Oct provided nothing happens to prevent his admission. We are going into isolation this weekend to keep him safe from COVID the crossing our fingers for a smooth ride up to his admission date.

Thanks @bloodywhitecat. I know they can't help it but hoping to get a bit more sleep tonight as they've increased the obs intervals. No such luck, unfortunately. I'm basically a zombie at this point!

I had to track down my brother's neighbour to check on him as we couldn't get hold of him.

She is an absolute darling, she tracked him down, took care of him, then wrote a huge update. Love her. Still feel slightly frazzled and can't sleep.

I honestly THINK I'm awake because I forgot to take my zinc supplement before bed. I've noticed if I forget I am super wakeful. It is very very annoying.
