Mine is brushing my teeth. It just feels like such a chore because I'm clearly very lazy.

OP posts:

Washing my DC's hair. They argue so much about it, scream like I am murdering them and soak me.

luckystarmaking · 26/09/2020 08:30

Hoovering the stairs

luckystarmaking · 26/09/2020 08:30

Also, the school run and long job applications. So stressful.

IndigoApple · 26/09/2020 08:52

Putting shopping way and changing the bed!

But I like doing laundry, Excel and getting petrol (specially the latter as feels like a novelty at the moment as not going anywhere!)

goingtotown · 26/09/2020 09:01

Buying a bra.

AdaColeman · 26/09/2020 09:04

Putting the bins out, a horrible start to a day!

Drawmelikeoneofyourfrenchgirls · 26/09/2020 09:06

Ironing

AlwaysLatte · 26/09/2020 09:12

Cleaning the wheelie bin

Ilovetheseventies · 26/09/2020 09:17

Inflating car tyres, tax returns, sorting out socks and pants.

Toddlerteaplease · 26/09/2020 09:21

I hate working Tuesday nights when we have to do the full check on the resuscitation trolley. I absolutely loathe doing it. Normally hope someone else will do it.

Bluetit101 · 26/09/2020 09:23

Going to the petrol station. And if pay at the pump isn't working I'd rather drive to another one than go in the actual station to pay. Don't know why, just a proper bug bear of mine

Bluetit101 · 26/09/2020 09:34

Oh and emptying the water out of my condenser tumble dryer 😩

SerenityNowwwww · 26/09/2020 09:35

Actually cleaning the loo.

I use vinegar, biocare and elbow grease and it’s smelly and hard work - but it comes out sparkly new.

SerenityNowwwww · 26/09/2020 09:35

Bicarb not biocare!

BananaHammock23 · 26/09/2020 10:02

Any form of cleaning, but washing up in particular

BringBiscuits · 26/09/2020 10:07

Getting stuff! I don’t mind ironing but hate getting the ironing board out. I hate getting the airing racks out to hang clothes. I hate getting the vacuum out cos it’s in a small cupboard. I hate getting my trainers out even tho I enjoy the run.

Time40 · 26/09/2020 10:39

Ah yes, hotcross. I see. I never go when it's busy!

WeeMadArthur · 26/09/2020 10:46

Gods, when I’m emptying/ filling the dishwasher it’s my most hated task, until I have to put on a washing or fold the washing, or put the washing away. Same old stuff everyday, over and over. But, the one I hate the most thankfully isn’t an everyday task but at least once a week DS produces a poo so mammoth I have to put on gloves, hold my breath, try not to look, and clear the blockage. Envy < not envy

TheRIDs · 26/09/2020 10:48

Flossing my teeth.

I do it religiously because my gums are as weak as shit and if I don’t, they fall apart quickly.

But fucking hell, it’s a chore.

SerenityNowwwww · 26/09/2020 10:50

Me too. Ping ping, nasty bits of food fly onto the mirror. Yuk!

monkeyonthetable · 26/09/2020 11:03

Wiping up crumbs from tables and work surfaces. I don't eat much bread but DH always leaves out a bread board with flaky crumbs on it, that spill all over the work surface. Makes my whole body cringe just looking at them so I have to wipe them up.

WanderingMilly · 26/09/2020 11:05

Work. Wish I had enough money not to have to go in - and I only do 3 days a week!

weepingwillow22 · 26/09/2020 11:41

Cutting my autistic son's fingernails!

GinWithASplashOfTonic · 26/09/2020 12:15

Used to hate putting petrol in the car as the fuel cap was a right faff. But since getting a car which is much simpler to take off the cap it's not too bad. Just have to remember the hole is on the other side of the car

Itwasaquarterpast11 · 26/09/2020 12:17

Reading and replying to texts. I feel harassed by my own phone.
Taking out the rubbish. Really not hard, but just such a bloody chore.
