What's one thing you HATE doing but have to do?

Mine is brushing my teeth. It just feels like such a chore because I'm clearly very lazy.

Peeling potatoes. 🤷‍♀️

Putting on make up. Taking off makeup. Even working from home most days I'm on video calls and look like a bag of spanners without it so it has to be done. Sooooo boring. Also HATE drying my hair, thank god for dry shampoo!

Packing up after a beach trip and cleaning sand off everything.
Food shopping.
Puting clean laundry away.

Dusting and emptying the bin

Ordering repeat prescriptions
Walking into the bedroom at bedtime and realising I’ve stripped the bed and left it to air so now I have to put the clean bedclothes on when I’m knackered
Washing up greasy things

ALL domestic chores! Housework generally. I hate it!! It’s so pointless and soul destroying when you have three preschoolers who get all the toys back out As soon as you’ve tidied up, drop crumbs, put sticky fingers/snot on everything. And don’t get me started on laundry! It never ends!!

So many things.... Washing up and cleaning the bathroom definitely top of the list though!

Getting ready for bed is such a chore as I usually leave it til I’m ready to fall asleep. Brushing teeth, having a wash and getting into pjs is then so exhausting.
Like now. Yawn 🥱

Cooking.
Changing bed linen.
Putting food shop away.

Making packed lunches. Hate it.
There's never a good time to do it.
I see so many people posting jolly tips like "make the kids lunches while dinner cooks" Why?! What a faff.
Same with picnics

For some reason I don't mind making lunch when it's going to be eaten straight after it's made

Cleaning cat litter tray, washing my hair, making and taking phone calls (why can't people just text/ WhatsApp?) vacuuming

Pairing socks.. in a house with 5 children this is a mission and impossible as obviously socks have a tendency to vanish 🤷‍♀️

Oh, and putting a duvet cover on a super king duvet. Fucking hate that too!

This! I feel about the hairdresser the way other people seem to feel about the dentist. But I also hate washing my hair myself...

Rinsing out hummus and yoghurt pots for the recycling. (No dishwasher at last rented house.)

Gardening. It’s outdoor housework.

Yes to brushing my teeth (but I do it!)

Also emptying the dishwasher....I don't mind loading it though

Can I say all of the above? Honestly, I identify with most of them! I'm glad I'm not the only one though - I thought there was something wrong with me! Cooking, hoovering and ironing being my least favorites. I hate brushing my teeth and washing my hair too though.

Definitely hate brushing teeth, going to the hairdresser, sorting online returns, putting away laundry.

And trying to work out which socks belong to who is annoying too.

I don’t do things I don’t want to do unless they absolutely have to be done so no ironing for me.

Drying my hair (not to look good, just so as not to freeze). To be honest, anything that can be considered “getting ready” other than putting joggers on but mainly my hair.
