I've just ordered vinyl flooring for the office

Just had disappointing scrambled egg on toast; the egg was pale and bland.

I've started cutting down green tea by drinking half a thumbs worth less each time. I thought about doing a thumb but that's quite a lot.

Just back from walking the dog - an uneventful experience for me, but the absolute height of excitement for the dog.

I have emptied the dishwasher and had to re-wash one cup which contained some uncleared detritus.

Also I have cleaned the washing line as there were a couple of cobwebs on it.

@Ninkanink after searching linen voiles due to your recommendation, I bought some new Alvine nets from Ikea for my bedroom (though not linen as I'll look for those for our living room) for my bedroom which is being rearranged this weekend. I was a bit excited at being able to order and have it delivered as it wasn't extortionate as the last time I looked at home delivery.

My dh and my bil are pollarding a tree in their dads garden. I hope that won't end up being exciting in any way.

We’re having kimchi pork stew tonight. Our first time cooking Korean at home.

I cut down the stem of a faux succulent so that it would fit properly into a little vase. It looks great and adds a bit of visual/textural interest to its corner of the living room.

It’s quite sunny today which is nice. I replanted a plant into the big pot in the corner of our courtyard.

Still no movement here. It’s a cliffhanger, I tell you.

I need to go and buy packed lunch things for ds but I really can't be bothered.

I have put a load of laundry on but it will have to go on the maiden as it looks very grey outside today.

I'm hungry but don't know what I fancy for lunch.

I booked the car in for a service and Mot and got some chicken stock out of the freezer 👍🏻

Teen is at home with a man cold, so I'll make him chicken soup later

I have just completed removing all the tomato plants and saving the tomatoes from blight.
Looking up green chutney recipes as we speak!!! So thrilling

DS2's tooth fell out yesterday morning. We put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy. This morning at breakfast he realised he hadn't checked to see if she had been. I told him to eat his breakfast first and went upstairs to get dressed (and quickly sort out the tooth!).

I am recovering from an operation where I have needed help out the bath (if we had a shower I could have done that myself). I just worked out a technique to get out on my own!

DD2’s Covid test was negative that means both DD’s are allowed back at school tomorrow.

I am having my oven cleaned. He put a new light bulb in.

Just back from a trip to buy dog food, DS has refused to help with baking so he’s all set up with Disney plus and I’m going to bake some brownies and try not to stress too much about my interview tomorrow.

I have done absolutely no housework whatsoever today so need to hang the washing, iron, put the dry clothes away. do a set of dishes and hoover in the next 40 minutes.

I do not forsee this happening.
