Crack on, as you were, need a lie down and a bit of cosseting after the non stop thrill ride of the last thread. Just take it slow, ok?

Took all our best glasses out of the cabinet to wash them and wipe down the glass shelves.
I gave myself a tension headache with the effort of not smashing anything.

Custardcreambiccy · 15/09/2020 12:20

Just did a wash without extracting a tissue from one of the pockets.

The horrible inevitability.

The shame.

183fredamarleymum · 15/09/2020 12:23

My son bought me some orange twirls. Ate 2 quite nice.

Frownette · 15/09/2020 12:32

I just made a drink of lime, maple syrup, ice and water. Can't taste the lime enough yet.

SunshineCake · 15/09/2020 12:38

I am home alone again. It is all quiet today. Yesterday I could hear something/someone. Had to threaten it/them with my dog.

Have made a cake.

Have cleaned dd bedroom after she asked me to look for her pencil case that she couldn't find anywhere. Took me seconds once I picked up the clothes on her chair Hmm.

My salad is past its use by and I think has gone off. Hope the rest of the dinner planned is okay.

I did some weeding today, watered the garden.

Accidentally watered the kitten.

FawnDrench · 15/09/2020 12:47

Been to Aldi and didn't buy anything from the middle aisle at all.
Wasn't even tempted.

Noticed whilst unpacking that most of my groceries are red or orange - peppers, tomatoes, kidney beans, baked beans, apples, ketchup, cream crackers, cheese, orange juice, lamb chops and bacon.

I also bought eggs and dog treats which aren't red or orange in the slightest.

I had a sports massage today which was really quite painful, but my legs feel good now. Then I went to Tesco to get all the bits that we forgot to add to the click and collect order, and used the self scanner for the first time. I felt a mild frisson of excitement about this, I can’t lie.

Then I went and collected my new cycle helmet from Halfords, and got home with just enough time to adjust it to fit and have a quick wee before I went to collect DS from his second morning at school. I can tell he’s having fun because he came out soaking wet and looking like he’d been dragged through a hedge backwards. Grin

Blingismything · 15/09/2020 13:22

A wasp flew into my car on Sunday and stung my arm, today it is red hot and itchy so am monitoring the area.

Feeling anxious as have had four days off work and up at 0445 tomorrow to go back.

My favourite update so far today, though I chuckled at Sunshine watering her kitten.

I woke up stupidly early and stole a march on my day. I was winning to start off with, especially with work, but now I’m very, very tired and its only 3.30pm.

OublietteBravo · 15/09/2020 15:42

I have used the last peppermint tea bag in the box.

giantangryrooster · 15/09/2020 15:55

Yesterday I cleaned the windows, not a frequent occurance. Today I can see that a drunken slug has taken the opportunity to come home from the pub over a nice clean (big) surface. No straight lines here, no Wink.

hamstersarse · 15/09/2020 15:56

I’ve run out of olive oil

Champagneforeveryone · 15/09/2020 15:58

Tonight is my last night shift going into rest days.

Possibly too exciting for this thread, but I have leftover roast dinner for lunch. I will eat this at around 3am Grin

CompleteBarstool · 15/09/2020 15:59

I'm feeding next doors cat as they're away for a few days 🐈

florestorres · 15/09/2020 16:03

Since I got the bus home earlier, I've had a nap. Taken my blood pressure. (High.) Must be the excitement here.
For the last hour, I've been watching them-over-the-back-garden, render their gable wall.
Scaffolding looks dodgy.

BillywigSting · 15/09/2020 17:17

I woke up with excruciating sciatica this morning and could barely move despite lots of strong painkillers. Had to ask Ds's friends dad to walk him to school. They walk past our house on the way so I didn't feel too guilty.

Painkillers finally kicked in and I had my weekly covid test in work and as it's pay day a few of us went to the village for a coffee and a bit of shopping.

Took ds to the park again after school.

Apart the sweat inducing pain this morning it's been a very pleasant day.

Trailing1 · 15/09/2020 17:28

My painful bastard Plantar Faschitits has reared its ugly, soul destroying head..... so much so that I cried at work. Fun times.

cheeseychovolate · 15/09/2020 17:42

I went to the bank today, first time since March.

Keeping2ChevronsApart · 15/09/2020 17:49

I've just had crustless quiche for tea. As it was crustless I ate half instead of a quarter. Then a bit of trifle for afters. DP has gone for a cycle along the sea front so I might watch some tv with the cat

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 15/09/2020 17:51

I just came home from work.
DD is cooking me dinner, which is nice. I am hoping for new cat videos from her mates.

lachy · 15/09/2020 18:10

I bought a mouse mat with a wrist support today.

soddingkitten · 15/09/2020 18:11

Sodding Kitten worked out how to open the cat flap coming back in from the garden after DS1 put a dish of freeze dried anchovies in view on the kitchen floor. SK’s problem solving resolve was impressive with anchovy motivation.

pickingdaisies · 15/09/2020 18:11

I got my 15 minute warning text from waitrose online delivery 23 minutes ago. Mildly concerned, they usually turn up before I've finished reading the text.

CMOTDibbler · 15/09/2020 18:17

Our first Ocado delivery since the M&S stock came in arrived.

Stupid chicken still seems to be rather taken by surprise by the process of egg laying as one appeared in the middle of the decking

pickingdaisies · 15/09/2020 18:25

Waitrose has turned up! Thank goodness, I'm getting hungry
