I have a zumba class at 8 that I really can't be bothered with, but I know I'll feel better and sleep better if I go so I shall drag myself out and make the effort.

Took ds to the park for half an hour after school because it's been a beautiful day. Dp is now playing video games with him while I hide upstairs.

I don't understand why shower /bathroom panels are so expensive from Victoria plum.

I saw on Facebook that a friend had had Ikea meatballs, and as a result I found a recipe for Swedish meatballs and cream sauce, and I am going to have a crack at it this weekend. Won’t be able to get lingonberry sauce as we’re miles and miles from an Ikea(or frankly
I’d just buy the damn things), but I’m going to use cranberry sauce as an alternative.

I’m really quite excited about it.

I have done a WeBuyBooks sale and am boxing up everything. I know I could get a lot more selling myself but can’t be arsed and glad to see some stuff gone.

We are in a big transition for baby stuff to toddler stuff at the moment so the clutter whilst we give away/sell things/take things down/move things around very irritating as we have zero storage in our stupid house.

I ordered a new school blazer for dd. It arrived and doesn't fit. I need to return it and order a bigger size.

I got some earrings delivered today from tk maxx but they are broken. It’s disappointing & a faff to return.

I’ve run out of antihistamines but I’m too tired to drive to the supermarket for some more tonight. Hoping it’s not a high pollen day tomorrow!

A curtain hook just fell off as I drew the curtains. I think I'll leave going up the ladder to sort it until tomorrow when I can do it in the daylight.

I had a shit day at work, and haven’t yet stopped with cleaning, clearing, making lunch boxes, making dinner etc this evening. V dull but v tiring!

The guy who did our kitchen called this evening and I had a cup of tea with him while he waited for my husband.
I had yesterdays pizza reheated for dinner.
I've cut my nails too short, it's very irritating.
I bought my first Christmas present today.

I renewed my car insurance. Tomorrow I need to renew my residents parking permit.

I came to bed at 7.30 tonight. I think I'm getting ill.

I got a new cooker with an induction hob, didn't know that my existing pans wouldn't work on it so had to buy new saucepans

We talked christmas cookies at work. A collegue gave a family memeber a christmas cookie advent calendar. Now they all want one and we reviewed recipies she could use.

I'm really struggling with a new colleague at work. Were working on a really big project together with a deadline this week. I'm reporting into him but he wont take any responsibility, show any initiative and I cant trust him to do what I ask him to do. I did 12 hours today, while he logged off and had the evening off. It's going to be a long week.

Heat is going up again. It's so variable at the moment it's unreal.

I have gone to bed early, I am tired and bed is comfier than the sofa. DH is watching Black Books on Netflix downstairs, I have seen all the episodes many times before.

Today I bought some ice cube trays that make the giant spherical ice cubes for cocktails like the ones you get in posh cocktail bars. I'm going to fill them with water tonight and might make an exciting posh g&t with them tomorrow night.

I spent the morning looking for a new lawn mower (see yesterday's uninteresting news) - the one I wanted is out of stock

So, switched to Sweaty Betty website, items I wanted also out of stock

Spent the afternoon sulking reading in the garden and now about to go to bed with a camomile tea to start a new book.

Despite the mornings frustrations, I feel I've had a calm and relaxing day for a change

We had a lovely, greasy fry-up for dinner, will be virtuous and make lentil soup tomorrow.

Oh yeah, I bought some of those the other day. They melt so much more slowly.

Then I'm shivering at approx 6.30am but now I feel damp and hot and have to go sit in the shower to wash it all off. I find these temperature variances really difficult as you're always changing clothes.

I kept a big flower pot on my deck all summer where I planted random seeds from old, out if date packets, slices of tomato, strawberries, etc, to see if they would sprout.

One of my experimental subjects was an avocado seed which I had given up on as I had planted it over six weeks ago and had not seen hair not hide of it since. So last week it rained cats and dogs for days, with warm temps and high humidity, and it appears this was the weather the avocado seed was waiting for.

I was sitting out having a cuppa on Sunday morning and noticed a sturdy shoot about a foot high among my miscellaneous weeds that definitely wasn't there last weekend. I may well have an avocado tree on my hands.

I am back from my zumba class which as predicted did make me feel a bit better but also very sweaty so I've just had a lovely hot shower.

Going to have a cuppa and collapse into bed. More boring stuff to do tomorrow but it is payday tomorrow so ho hum. Can't complain. Might see if the shops have autumn stuff in yet and treat myself to something.

I rearranged everything in my kitchen today. Thought it looked amazing, after an hour I decided I wasn't sure. Probably will move it all back tomorrow.

I had Burger King for tea and I'm now so bloated I wish I hadn't bothered 😔😔😔

I'm going to walk into town to get some wrapping paper for a birthday present. It's downhill, and a nice breezy morning. Then I'll get the little bus home, as I can't manage the walk back up the hill.
