Crack on, as you were, need a lie down and a bit of cosseting after the non stop thrill ride of the last thread. Just take it slow, ok?

I've just renewed my car insurance and worked out that it costs me 46.02p per day, which is pretty good really.

The dog has gone to his bed rather early tonight - but I expect he'll be back soon to say hello, check on us, and remind us of his presence.
As if we wouldn't remember - pah!

I am going to buy toilet rolls and mushrooms tomorrow.

GetRid · 10/09/2020 20:48

Our kittens discovered how to climb curtains today. I also caught them on the kitchen table lapping up milk from the DC's cereal bowls when I got back from the school run this morning.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 10/09/2020 20:52

DD's friend's cats have settled in well and are asleep on their cat beds.
DHL sent a mail to say our desk chairs will arrive tommorrow.
As it is Friday I am off work tommorrow.

We went to the park after school & the kids all had ice creams. I bought dd2's friend one so she didn't potentially miss out by having to run home for some money first.

My friend's baby really likes ice cream...she was very messy by the time we left Grin

A person came to measure for the new front door. There was teeth sucking about having to take a sample from the soffits. I did not offer solutions and presto! They came up with something for themselves.

Frownette · 10/09/2020 21:13

@Blameitonthedog

I was stung by a wasp as I cleaned my teeth today.
How did you manage that?

I keep losing things today. Put down keys, lose them. Put down cashcard, lose it. Finding shoes is a nightmare.

AnneBoleynsHead · 10/09/2020 21:37

We went shopping to Morrisons tonight & bought a toasting loaf for 10p & 2 salmon fillets for £1.00
Quite exciting, sorryBlush

FunnysInLaJardin · 10/09/2020 22:16

its been a gruelling day. Hoping for better tomorrow

WouldBeGood · 10/09/2020 23:05

I’ve been to outdoor opera. It was amazing.

Lazysundayafternoons · 11/09/2020 06:23

I woke at 2 o clock and couldn't get back to sleep until around 5 o clock, then the baby wokd up at half 5 and now we are up for the day

HelenaJustina · 11/09/2020 06:33

Due to bubbling rules at work, I’ve had to do some long repetitive jobs way below my pay grade. I was fine with this, then after a couple of days I was cross, now I’m not. 🤷‍♀️

cheeseychovolate · 11/09/2020 06:36

My oven looks brand new. I don't want to mess it up by cooking on it.

Taswama · 11/09/2020 07:16

I found a pair of navy joggers in DS's wardrobe that I had put there in the summer to make room for shorts in his chest of drawers. I bought a pair of navy joggers for him to wear on PE days at school a week ago.

monkeyonthetable · 11/09/2020 07:26

We went out for dinner last night but couldn't finish it so asked for doggy bags. Tonight's dinner sorted.

The new towels are in the wash. I hope the colour doesn't run - they are very bright.

monkeyonthetable · 11/09/2020 07:27

I love this thread so much. I love these tiny snapshots into people's lives.

monkeyonthetable · 11/09/2020 07:29

Some of these are getting a bit Steady On! Tooth wasps and outdoor opera? I need a lie down.

Smoothyloopy · 11/09/2020 07:29

I just sorted the washing into piles.

Wow! Bargain! And rather too exciting Anne Boleyns Head. Shame on you!

Deathraystare · 11/09/2020 07:52

I found my passport. Yay!

Ok it is out of date and it is not as if I can get away anywhere at the moment but still.......

Still trying to find the bag that my diary is in though. I know it is not in the fridge where I put the salt mill....

BamboozledandBefuddled · 11/09/2020 08:00

I've spent the last 10 minutes looking for the new tube of toothpaste that I bought on Wednesday. I found it in the airing cupboard. There's probably a very good reason why I put it in there Hmm

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 11/09/2020 08:02

Today is my day off. It is not raining.
I need to scan a few documents for storage, do my Duolingo before the owl starts threatening me again and then DD and I will do some shopping.
Hopefully the chairs arrive as anounced, currently I am sitting on a kitchen chair.

CMOTDibbler · 11/09/2020 08:07

While I was swimming in the lake last night, I tried a tip about putting all your clothes in an insulated bag with a hotwater bottle so that they heated right through. It was marvellous putting warm clothes on, and my ugg a like boots (only worn post swimming) had warmed through so my feet warmed up much better than normal

MrsBobDylan · 11/09/2020 08:17

My Epilady has broken and I wanted to wear a skirt today :(

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 11/09/2020 09:01

Having been less than sympathetic when it flew in through the open window last night and started dive-bombing me, felt sad for the dead wasp I found in the bathroom this morning.

MsBouffet · 11/09/2020 09:19

DM just called. She had a really good night sleep, about 8 hours, after her care worker shift.

Can't get more mundane than 'how did you sleep' 😂. Oh wait, I am about to have a cup of tea.

I also feel (touch wood) better today after a few brain foggy days.
