This is the one where the news remains dull, and all the irons you bought in the last thread have developed limescale.

I had a slice of toast and now I feel a bit sick. It must be because I am low carbing.The toast was worth it though,it was slightly cold and hard so the butter went on the way it used to in a 1990s B&B.

I ordered a wheelbarrow. It came today.

I think some of these aren’t dull and boring. Nice try Though. I’m looking at you @Autumnchill , fog horns on the estuary sounds pretty lovely and not at all dull.

I’ve tidied my underwear drawer this morning.
7 odd socks, several bras which have no chance of containing my bosom these days and many pairs of pants which have seen better days, have all been discarded.
Will save the excitement of replacing them for later in the week.

@mathanxiety Aldi... pop in for 4 pints of milk, come out with the milk, a wetsuit and a trombone We stopped going to Aldi during lockdown because of social distancing and were seduced by click and collect, but I do miss the middle aisle of dreams!

We’re going for a walk with some friends this morning. Looking forward to it!

I just harvested our mini 'Let's see if growing potatoes in a sack actually works' project. Potatoes for two meals, they look good. .

It wouldn’t surprise me if they did!

In other news; my ear is unblocked at last - yay!

About to give DH a haircut. Only the third time I’ve done it. 😱

The dog was sick all over our new sofa after stealing the remains of DH’s pizza.

DH has gone to church, I'm still in bed after a night shift but need to get up or I won't sleep tonight.

Then I will put the washing on and clean the bathroom.

I've assessed the situation and it will be a white wash

Me and DH have had ‘words’ the plan for dinner today has been toad in the hole all week, DH went to the supermarket yesterday and didn’t get eggs Okay we’ll have shepherds pie - no gravy If DH goes the supermarket he will come out with 574 things that he suddenly removers we need - we don’t - I’m agoraphobic so can’t go and I also have a weird eating issue so said it’s fine just feed you and the DC and I’ll figure myself out, he then said fine I’ll just feed the kids. So now we’re at a stalemate... Obvs he could just go and get eggs or gravy but that’s far too simple....

DH is cooking a curry for midday.
I wanted to bake a raisin cake but we do not have enough eggs and it is Sunday.

I got most of the grass cut today but still so much to do

I've seen several butterflies today - but I couldn't tell you which kind they were, as I'm not lepidopterally informed enough.

DH is watching an old James Bond film starring a rather debonair and dashing Sean Connery.

I am making a mental list of items to shop for tomorrow, but I expect I'll forget to buy at least 2 of them.

How big is the new shed? We’ve just been measuring up for one in the garden.

@Doggodogington i can only apologise. My day did get more exciting as I went to view a house with a sea view and loved it 😁😁

I took the DC to a country park. Surprisingly, given recent behaviour, they were angels, we had a brilliant time, stayed far longer than I planned and had a very late lunch. I would have packed a picnic if I had realised we would stay so long.

I am going to make a cup of tea and get the ironing board out now. I have delegated parenting to disney plus.

Just back from feeding the cats, their owners will be back tomorrow evening unless their flight gets cancelled.

My cat tried a new brand of food today, said food has been added to my catfood database that includes cost per 100g, protein content etc. Not geeky at all.

My boyfriends quarantine is over, but as my son is back at school tomorrow he has to stay ‘locked’ until we know my son is definitely asleep before venturing out.

The puppy managed to actually retrieve a ball today for the first time (he is retriever).

I’m trying to do the crossword but my dogs are too demanding.

It’s annoying but also a handy excuse for failure.

I managed to get all of my work done 15 minutes before the end of my shift today, which was a very pleasant surprise.

My feet still hurt though.

The back of my thigh has stopped itching now.

I declare the night to be cold - I will take a hot water bottle to bed.

DH has just taken Ddog into the back garden for her pre-bedtime poo.

I'm finally watching "A Beautiful Mind", so far it is dull as fuck.

I've decided that buying a hula hoop will change my life significantly.
