This is the one where the news remains dull, and all the irons you bought in the last thread have developed limescale.

I had a slice of toast and now I feel a bit sick. It must be because I am low carbing.The toast was worth it though,it was slightly cold and hard so the butter went on the way it used to in a 1990s B&B.

I ordered a wheelbarrow. It came today.

I ordered some navy blue cotton today to make dd1 some face coverings that match her uniform - her school have asked that they be worn in communal areas.

Bought my mum a new kitchen tablecloth yesterday. It has pictures of lemons on it.

I put the bins out. My bins go out more than me

We had a barbecue on the beach this evening, one of the last 'home holiday' things we promised we would do.

I've had to mute the school WhatsApp.

I hear you! My finger has hovered over the button several times this week.

I've been trying to go to bed for the last half an hour but I just can't summon the energy to move off the sofa.

The laundry is done and needs taking out of the machine.

Our Amazon delivery of a hostess trolley for the kitchen is coming tomorrow by 8pm.

We might watch Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure tonight in preparation for watching the new one some other night this week.

A year group one, set up by a group of parents not in my immediate social circle. I was added by the parent of one of DS1’s friends. They have time to worry about stuff that isn’t even on my radar. I guess someone has to do it.

The arms of my new reading glasses are slightly too long. It's fairly annoying.

I've gone back to bed after making DD's packed lunch for school today. Between DH and the dogs I rarely have the bed to myself so it's bliss right now.

My weekday work alarm woke me up stupidly early too. I have Netflix on my phone and headphones by my bed, so I am making good use of my lie in.

The builders working next door have turned up and started making a racket. 🙄

I don't especially want to do anything today but thought I should offer that DD could choose, as she's been an absolute star occupying herself a lot on my working days. She doesn't want to go out either. Result.

The cat got stuck in the spare room. Only I heard her meow.

One of our dogs had an upset stomach during the night-I've just finished cleaning the kitchen floor.....
