This is the one where the news remains dull, and all the irons you bought in the last thread have developed limescale.

I had a slice of toast and now I feel a bit sick. It must be because I am low carbing.The toast was worth it though,it was slightly cold and hard so the butter went on the way it used to in a 1990s B&B.

I ordered a wheelbarrow. It came today.

Going home tomorrow after a weeks outdoorsy holiday in the Peak District where it's pissed down every day.

Tremors 2 has been on. Tremors 3 has now started.

DP is so excited by this, he's snoring on the sofa. If I turned it over, he would undoubtedly wake up and say 'I'm watching that'.

I'm debating about whether to calm myself by scrubbing out the cats' shitbox or by taking my single premixed gin and rose lemonade up to a bubble bath and pretending this non stop thrillseeking weekend just isn't happening.

Yet again I sat on the wrong side of the harbour today when an Osprey visited for his breakfast. I always get it wrong...bastarding bird!

I'm watching the twenty 20 cricket dh recorded earlier.

I'm trying to keep my kittens apart, hormones have kicked in and boy kitten keeps trying to jump girl kitten, I have put them in separate rooms but then they howl very loudly as don't like being apart. The vets appointment is booked thankfully but not until the 15th. Roll on the 15th

Gin in the bath! It’s a no-brainer.

I slept in. The cat was down to her last twelve pellets by the time I got up. I still haven't got around to the laundry or the hoovering.

I made falafel today

I once made butterscotch angel delight with breast milk. It's put me off for life.

This afternoon I sewed up two face-masks (using the very good free pattern by Dhurata Davies) in Liberty fabric which I'd totally forgotten I had, and rediscovered in my stash - hurrah!

Then I made a damson crumble to have for pudding after dinner. But now everyone's too full to eat any.

My daughter thought she had lost her dog out of the garden and put an appeal for his return on Facebook
She had to delete it when she found him asleep in the spare bedroom

I made 2 jars of lemon curd yesterday and have just eaten half of one with a spoon.

This is almost exciting, but everyone in my house is in bed and I have wine and Netflix all to myself.

The supplements were missing from the papers delivered today

DD didn't get hypothermia from paddling in the Irish Sea today.

I have spent ages on an online shopping order. I will probably get cold feet and delete it and go to the supermarket tomorrow.

It is 6.30am here. Bright enough to wake me up at 6am for no good reason, but not looking sunny. I think the Bush back-burning has caused a haze.

I got a collapsible washing basket from Aldi today. It bloody brilliant
