This is the one where the news remains dull, and all the irons you bought in the last thread have developed limescale.

I had a slice of toast and now I feel a bit sick. It must be because I am low carbing.The toast was worth it though,it was slightly cold and hard so the butter went on the way it used to in a 1990s B&B.

I ordered a wheelbarrow. It came today.

I put too much product in my hair and now I will have to wash it again until it feels right.

I lit a new candle today and now my bedroom smells lovely.

Tomorrow I am going to buy new packet pants.
And maybe even socks.

I've just had a two hour nap!

We're getting Indian takeaway tonight.

I am actually really excited about that

I’ve had a full day alone in the house which is very unusual and weirdly I’ve been super productive (for me)... so far I have bleached the bathroom, washed up, sewed DD’s initials into all her uniform, ironed the whole ironing pile, put away the washing, cleared out some old clothes, emptied the bin, cleaned the bin lid, charged the hoover, hoovered and, during this fuller than dull day, I have also watched 2 movies (with many pauses) - Hidden Figures and Pride & Prejudice.

To be honest this is possibly too exciting but for some reason I felt motivated for once.

I’ve lost my cro-jo so will probably spend all evening playing games on my phone.

Found pockets in my new dress that I thought had no pockets. Get in!!!!!! (Sorry maybe that is too exciting)

Me too! I have so many wips but I just can't muster up any will to work on them :(

My Green Johanna was delivered today. I didn't realise it came with a kitchen caddy so now have two.

I had to drive 200 miles yesterday and I parked at a service station just long enough to use the (socially-distanced) loo and stretch my legs. As ever, I chose a spot away from other cars as I don't trust people to be careful of my paintwork but when I got back to the car and was unscrewing my thermos to enjoy my coffee, another car pulled up next to me and a young woman flung her passenger door right open and just clouted the side of my car. There's now a very small but visible dent there but as it was raining so hard I didn't see it at the time when I sprang out and pointedly examined the door.

I'm furious and keep thinking about it and wondering how someone could be such a careless arse

DD1 did the washing up for the first time on her own (she’s 10 - no sharp knives etc).

We had a 3hr power cut so played a family game of scrabble.

I’ve just realised we should have been going on holiday tomorrow

I’m going to eat a huge bowl of strawberries and cream ice cream to commiserate.

Just to quickly update that the dishwasher is working really well now. And the oven is clean which is nice.

I used the last of the peas for dinner tonight.

Still in bed, couldn't remember the Italian for hot water bottle - now I know.

We are going on a day out tomorrow. A whole day out with picnic lunch.

This will be our first day trip out since March.

I've just ordered a long handled extendy reach duster to get the cobwebs on the ceiling because I'm REALLY short and using my tall ladder gives me the fanny clenches of fear.

Its coming tomorrow.

I cut my toe nails today

I couldn’t get the paint tester I wanted in B&Q. In fact the only testers at all were for furniture paint.

I got soaked walking to the post office today. DNephew 3, jumped in a massive puddle and soaked us more, he then face planted into a puddle.

We had to wait at the level crossing, and 2 high speed pendalinos went past which DN got us to wave at.

Turns out butter mintoes are still good 18 months after their best before end date
