@AlCalavicci Richard Cadell bought the Sooty & Sweep franchise off Matthew Corbett.
Matthew had received many offers over the years from people wanting to take over & bring S & S back to TV & he always said no until Richard came along & Matthew thought he was the right fit.
I watched & adored Sooty & Co as a child & when my DD was little introduced her to Sooty. We've got nearly all the DVDs & seen them live several times around the country (& doesn't matter where I am in the audience but Sooty always manages to get me with his water pistol (damn bear) & we've had several photos with Sooty & co.
Can you guess I'm a Sooty groupie
