Lurpak butter - tastes revolting.

I bet my list is the most unusual!

Anything containing any grain (eg wheat, rice) or anything derived from a grain (eg corn flour, sweetcorn).

Alcohol.

Sugar.

Coffee.

  • Most non-green vegetables. I buy the occasional carrot to go in a bolognaise, but that's it.
  • Cheap, processed meat
  • Anything "light" or diet
  • fizzy drinks except for tonic water and fizzy water.
MutteringDarkly · 16/08/2020 22:16

Have the posters who never buy anything from Iceland actually been recently ? Their frozen seafood is brilliant.

Stuff I never buy - air fresheners of any variety and tissues.

Mamette · 16/08/2020 22:21

Baked beans or any of those spaghetti tins.

To give some balance:

I never buy lentils.

lljkk · 16/08/2020 22:21

Very few chemical things...
cling film, hardly any cleaning materials, bin bags, fabric softener, potions, hair dye, any kind of wipe or anti-bac or sanitiser, detergent "pods", anti-wrinkle stuff, make-up

I loathe Beer: DH likes it a little but not enough to ever buy any or ask for it.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 16/08/2020 22:22

Oh, and margarine. In fact any kind of butter-like-but-not-actually-butter type spreads.

Trashtara · 16/08/2020 22:23

I genuinely don't think there's any grocery item I've never bought. Even if I've not bought it for me, I've bought it for others.

Probably vegetable juice. I honestly can't think of a time I've bought vegetable juice.

Bringmewineandcake · 16/08/2020 22:23

Those little fragrance balls to go in the washing machine
