We live in a hard water area and I have to buy the fabric conditioner that doesn't have any smell to it as the heavily perfumed ones make my eyes water and give me allergies. It makes the clothes a bit softer , although I don't use it on a towel wash as I like them to be a lot less fluffy!
I also don't buy any frozen meat but tend to just freeze it from fresh. Not sure why really : old habits die hard.

I imagine a bum gun - and if so I'm jealous...have fond memories of them when I spent a few months in Asia: Nice clean bum, no need for paper, handy for rinsing off sandy feet and useful for the female equivalent of Penis Beaker occasions Grin
Lockdownhairdontcare · 20/08/2020 17:42

Coloured toilet paper
Frozen meat
Tinned meat
Cake/biscuit mix
Fizzy drinks in bottles (cans available for occasional drinks/guests but no one really likes them in our house)
Bread

Roomba · 20/08/2020 17:44

Anything with beef/gelatin as I've been terrified of prion diseases since the early '90s. Cereal, ready meals, milk in any size other than a pint (and I have to chuck half of that as it goes off before I use it all), baked beans, non bio powder (seems to just bleach/fade everything instead of removing stains), pot noodles, chips (make my own).

Oliversmumsarmy · 20/08/2020 23:14

Do they do coloured toilet paper anymore?

AfterSchoolWorry · 21/08/2020 09:54

sleepyhead · 21/08/2020 10:05

Ginfordinner · 21/08/2020 10:08

AfterSchoolWorry · 21/08/2020 10:46

Oh!

Do you not eat anything with tomato based sauces at all?

Yeah, but I wouldn't make them myself! I hate cooking!

Ginfordinner · 21/08/2020 13:40

Fair enough. I don't like the taste of jarred tomato sauces.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 21/08/2020 14:21

@Oliversmumsarmy Sainsbury’s do.

sobersides · 21/08/2020 16:44

DD is off to uni in a couple of weeks so I won't have to buy ketchup, Yazoo chocolate milkshake, fizzy drinks, ready made pasta sauces or pasta. Can't wait!

Oliversmumsarmy · 22/08/2020 15:52

Lockdownhairdontcare

My local Sainsbury’s doesn’t.

BigThunderMountainRailroad · 22/08/2020 15:54

Never buy:
Ketchup
Fabric softener
Alcohol
Tinned food
Fizzy drinks

frenchfancy81 · 03/02/2022 09:39
