When they see you on the balcony and when they see you drive in and out the gates

Wish I was a multi millionaire too !!

You poor thing.

FluffyKittensinabasket · 08/08/2020 12:20

I live on a military base with nice men with machine guns on the gate and delightful barbed wire. I imagine it’s much the same.

Lardlizard · 08/08/2020 12:25

Fluffy, I would look at someone going in there too ! 🤣

Surely most people around the area live in similar houses so wouldn't really give a toss

fairlyplump · 08/08/2020 12:37

seriously, who gives a toss, I think they are probably not staring you just want them to be

ItchyScratch · 08/08/2020 12:38

My day is brighter for knowing this piece of information.
Thank you so much for telling us.
Best thread of the month.

thisisbobbins · 08/08/2020 12:43

Worst 'stealth' boast ever. Grin

Gogogadgetarms · 08/08/2020 12:44

I’m having dip and doritos for dinner tonight.

ReggieCat · 08/08/2020 12:44

Fascinating. I'm so glad you shared that. It has truly enhanced my weekend.

Perhaps they think your trespassers.

Pobblebonk · 08/08/2020 12:54

you're, not your.

Snog · 08/08/2020 12:54

Are you Meghan Markle?

NancyPickford · 08/08/2020 12:55

Quite a few of us are staying in OUR OWN multi-million pound houses.

Not me, obviously.

hotchipontheshoulder · 08/08/2020 12:57

Good for you. Enjoy your boasting weekend.

pasteldechocolateconchispa · 08/08/2020 12:58

Dinner sorted...too hot cook thanks
Lockdownseperation · 08/08/2020 12:59

If I had a multi million pound house I would want a bit of privacy. In any house I would want privacy mostly because I know how nosey I am so I’m assume other people are too. I always have a discrete look at everyone’s house.

KaptainKaveman · 08/08/2020 13:00

"Staying AT a FRIEND'S multi million POUND house.

OP if your grammar improved, you too could be living in luxury. I know I am, and my grammar is impeccable Wink.

WorraLiberty · 08/08/2020 13:04

Why would they stare at you? Confused

Unless it's randomly built in the middle of a council housing estate and therefore completely different to all the other houses?

DifficultPifcultLemonDifficult · 08/08/2020 13:05

I live in a council house and get started at by the weirdos across the road 🤷‍♀️

KurriKawari · 08/08/2020 13:05

Also if I was staying in a multi million pound property, I'd be having far too much of a nice time to be on mumsnet or online at all.

KurriKawari · 08/08/2020 13:06

I'm more jealous of the doritos than the house.

2bazookas · 08/08/2020 13:06

If your friends were truly rich, their balconies and grounds would be so secluded and private, nobody outside could see you there.

You need to upgrade your fantasies.

Drumple · 08/08/2020 13:11

Bully for you.

SoloMummy · 08/08/2020 13:12

We've frequently stayed at our friend's home that's 3 or4m and cannot say I noticed the staring as all of the homes in the proximity and similarly valued and you don't see "riff-raff".
